Mindfulness Monday's...
Lets talk about Dopamine!! The reward chemical...we are often looking for rewards from the outside but there are so many ways you can create Dopamine all by yourself! By setting yourself achievable goals start small, like getting out of bed and having a shower or walking around the block or cleaning out one draw or making yourself a delicious meal. I personally use these techniques whenever I'm feeling a little stressed or overwhelmed. Tonight I put a little effort in and made one of my favourite meals and made it look appealling and boy did my Dopamine go through the roof not only because I accomplished something but my kids were excited to eat and so was I, we all got to share a healthy delicious meal that tasted even better then it looked 😍 have a delicious week πŸ˜‹

(Sorry busy yesterday)

This week I wanted to highlight the power of Mindfulness and letting go of unuseful thoughts, you know those thoughts that a driven by negativity things like " I'm not good enough" "I'm useless" "I'm ugly" "I'll never reach my goals" we all get these thoughts at one time or another some people who are depressed or have anxiety these thoughts will be more persistent. But you can make a conscious decision to free yourself from those thoughts. Simply begin by breathing in and out, then on the inhale notice the unuseful thought and on the exhale let it go. You can continue this process over and over and maybe you do it all day just noticing and releasing those negative thoughts. Have a beautiful week. You have got this!

In most cases its easier said then done but wasting our energy on getting angry about what other people say and do is robbing yourself of energy that you can use to love yourself and give love to the ones who deserve it. ✨️ πŸ’–πŸ’

Be careful who you share your vulnerability with to begin with, but work towards authenticity.
You are perfectly imperfect just as you are! πŸ₯°
