Last week we had the privilege of welcoming Karenne Williams, Social Worker with QATSIPP — the Queensland Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peak Body.
We are incredibly grateful for Karenne’s time, knowledge, and the passion she so openly shared with our OT4You team. Her commitment to supporting vulnerable children, families and communities was deeply valued, and it was a privilege to learn from her experience and perspective.

The conversations shared during this session provided a meaningful opportunity for our team to continue learning, reflecting and strengthening our understanding of culturally safe and responsive practice when supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, families and communities.

Opportunities like this help us continue to grow in our practice, deepen our relationships, and ensure we are providing supports that are respectful, family-centred and connected to community.

10 years of OT4You 💛

This week we celebrated a very special milestone ~ 10 years since OT4You was first established.

What began as a small part-time dream in my garage, while caring for my young family, has grown into something far bigger than I could have imagined. Over the past decade, OT4You has become a place of connection, learning, support, growth and meaningful impact for so many children, families, therapists and our wider community.

I feel incredibly grateful for every family who has trusted us, every team member who has helped shape who we are, and every person who has supported OT4You along the way.

This journey has not always been easy, but it has always been driven by heart, purpose and a deep belief in helping children and families feel supported to participate in everyday life.

To our beautiful team, thank you. OT4You is what it is because of the care, passion and commitment you bring every day.

Here’s to 10 years of OT4You, and to everything still to come. 🎉

Anzac day 2026- Lest We Forget
This morning, my family joined our community for the ANZAC Day parade.
It was a special opportunity to pause, reflect, and show our respect for the courage, sacrifice, and service of those who have served, and continue to serve, our country.
We are grateful for your service and to be part of a community that comes together to honour such an important day.

A big thank you to Don Williams for kindly donating these beautiful handmade wooden vehicles to OT4You.
These gorgeous creations will be a wonderful addition to our space and are sure to inspire so much play, imagination and engagement for the children we support. We are so grateful for the time, care and craftsmanship that has gone into each one.

Today, we celebrate the incredible women who make up the heart of OT4You.
Every day, our team of passionate Occupational Therapists, Speech Pathologists, and support staff show up with compassion, dedication and expertise to support the children and families in our community.
They advocate fiercely, think creatively, and work collaboratively to help every child build the skills, confidence and independence they need to thrive.
We are proud to be a team led by strong women who lift each other up, support one another’s growth, and are deeply committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of the families we serve across our region.
To the women of OT4You — thank you for your leadership, kindness, resilience and unwavering belief in the potential of every child. 💛
