🎀 Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This month, we’re shining a little extra light on breast health and breast cancer awareness at Highlands General Practice.

As Dr Fiona Mackintosh reminds us, staying up to date with recommended screening is an important part of looking after your health. Knowing your breasts, being aware of changes and attending your recommended screening can all play an important role in early detection.

Breast cancer is personal to many of us at Highlands GP. Like so many people in our community, we all know someone who has been affected. 💗

Throughout October, we’ll be sharing information and fundraising to support breast cancer awareness and initiatives. 🎀

🎉 A big congratulations to Dr Bransen Noel-Gough!

We’re delighted to announce that Dr Bransen has officially completed his GP Fellowship with ACRRM! 👏

Dr Bransen joined Highlands GP as a GP Registrar, and we’re thrilled that he’ll be continuing to consult with patients in our local community.

He is consulting at our Bowral practice on Thursdays and Fridays.

💕 Exciting news for Dr Megan Ryan! 💕

As many of you may already know, Dr Ryan is taking a break from practicing as she prepares to welcome a new addition to her family. 👶

We know many of her patients will join us in sending their congratulations and best wishes to her and her family during this special time.

Dr Ryan is planning to return to consulting in 2027, although a specific date has not yet been confirmed.

We look forward to welcoming her back when the time comes 💕
