Following on from our post below, we are so grateful for the incredible generosity and support shown for one of our own.

Thanks to everyone who has donated, offered items, shared our post or reached out. We’ve managed to collect so much already, and it’s making a huge difference in helping turn his new place into a home. 🏡

Opening this coming Friday, 4th September, this exhibition is full of vibrant colour, strong women and nature. Sure to bring joy to anyone who walks into the Phoenix Gallery.

On show all of September, with an opening event on Friday 4th September from 1pm to 3pm.

Artist Iris creates paintings that are bright, bold and colourful. She paints to express the power and beauty of the natural world.

‘I love what I do and am grateful to have the opportunity to have a full-time creative practice.’

Can our community come together for one of our own? ❤️

Since Nambucca Valley Phoenix and Macleay Options have come together, we’ve been working as one team to support the people who are part of the Phoenix community.

Right now, one of those people, someone who is very well known and loved by many in our local community, is going through a really tough time.

Working together, we’ve been able to help him find a safe and secure place to call home. Now we’re hoping our community can help us get him settled in and make it feel like his own.

He already has some of the bigger items, but there are still a few things he needs:

• Washing machine
• Lounge/sofa
• Dining table and chairs
• Plates and cutlery
• Towels and face washers
• Tea towels

If you have anything on the list that you no longer need and would be happy to donate, please get in touch.

If you don’t have anything to donate but would still like to help, monetary donations are also welcome and will go towards buying the things he still needs.

This is what Phoenix and Macleay Options coming together is all about — supporting people, working together and looking after our community.

He means a lot to a lot of people, and we’d really love to see the community get behind him and give him a hand when he needs it. ❤️
