Participants were supported to take their curiosity behind the scenes at The Round, exploring what it takes to bring performances to life beyond the stage. With a backstage pass, they chose where to focus their attention — from standing on stage to discovering the technical and production spaces that make theatre possible.

This experience strengthened participants’ understanding of the performing arts world while building transferable skills such as confidence, communication, and independent decision‑making. By engaging directly with industry professionals, participants formed meaningful connections with the team at The Round and experienced what inclusive, accessible creative spaces can look like in practice.

A huge thank you to the staff — and a special shout‑out to Lewis, our guide — for making this opportunity both accessible and inspiring.
