What if the reason you feel stuck has less to do with how hard you are training and more to do with how your body is responding to it?

How you move, breathe, hold tension, and respond to stress can all influence the way your body performs.

That is where 1:1 coaching becomes different.

The goal is not simply to give you another workout. It is to understand what your body is doing, where it may be compensating, and what needs to change so training can become more effective.

Send me a message and let’s figure out what your body actually needs to move forward. We can work together.

These are the messages that remind me why I continue to do this work.
Feedback like this is what makes me smile. ☺️

Every person comes in with a different story, a different challenge, and a different relationship with their body. My role as a coach and mentor is to help them better understand themselves, explore what is possible, and build tools they can continue to use beyond our time together.

Seeing people find more confidence, freedom, peace, and possibility in their lives is what makes this work meaningful to me.

To everyone who has trusted me to be part of that process, thank you.
I’m grateful for every session, conversation, and lesson we’ve shared.

If anyone there looking for support in better understanding the body to live a pain-free life, message me. I'm here to help. 🤝

Life can be hard. Waiting for it to feel easier won’t change what your body is learning. ❤️🔥

Take ownership of what you can control.

Breathe to create safety.
Move with awareness.
Eat to support recovery.
Think in ways that reduce unnecessary stress.
Train to build strength and capacity.

You don’t need perfect conditions to start changing your life.
You need better inputs that give your body a reason to adapt.

Get stronger, create more freedom, and keep building toward a pain-free life.

Keep becoming.

The same exercise can create a completely different result from one person to the next.

What matters is how you connect to the muscles involved, how you perform the movement, and how your body works together as a whole.

That connection is what gives you a better understanding of what needs to change.

Your body does not work in separate parts. The physical, mental, and emotional are always influencing one another.

When one piece is missing, the body often falls back into the responses it has learned to rely on.

That is why I meet clients where they are and give them the right guidelines, repetition, and space to learn what their body needs.

The goal is to build safety while helping my clients become more physically, mentally, and emotionally present.

If you want to understand your body on a deeper level and learn how to move, respond, and build safety with more awareness, send me a message and let’s work together. I’m here to guide you.

Be ridiculously optimistic about what life can still become.

You do not need to have everything figured out before you move forward. Stay open to possibility, trust that more can exist beyond what you know today, and choose the direction that keeps pulling you toward growth.

You get one life to become more of who you are capable of being.

The time is now. Change could start today. Live a pain-free life.

Knee or hip discomfort during squats or running may be a sign that the Sartorius is doing more work than it should. When your hinge pattern and larger structural muscles are not managing the movement well, smaller muscles can become overworked trying to create rotation and stabilize the knee. For runners and functional fitness athletes, this is one pattern worth paying attention to.

Breath does more than keep you alive. It influences your muscles, tension, posture, movement, and how your body organizes itself.

The same is true for the thoughts and beliefs you reinforce every day. They can shape what you avoid, how much confidence you feel in your body, and the choices you make.
The more attention you bring to both, the more opportunity you have to create a different response.

That connection can help you recognize old patterns, build greater trust in yourself, and create more freedom in how you move forward.

Pain, tension, anxiety, and recurring patterns are not always solved by doing more. The first step is understanding how your body is moving, breathing, creating tension, and responding to stress.

That is the foundation of my work.

I use movement, breath, awareness, and assessment to help you build more strength, safety, and confidence in your body, while giving you more clarity around what may be driving the patterns you keep experiencing.

There are different ways we can work together, including 1:1 personal training, one-time assessments, private workshops, online assessments, monthly mentoring, and Movement Ayahuasca retreats.

Whether you are looking for in-person support in Newport Beach or want to work together online, we can find the approach that fits where you are right now.

If overhead training leaves you feeling tension around the first rib or side delt, the issue may be less about tightness and more about how your shoulder is managing force. When the upper pec is not contributing well, the side delt can start taking over and the first rib may end up doing more stabilization than it should.
