This one feels personal.

After chaos, sickness, travel, unexpected change the past 6-8 weeks, a very full season… I can feel myself entering a new chapter.

One not by force.

But by surrendering and listening more deeply.

This Gemini New Moon is reminding me that fresh beginnings often start internally first.

This New Moon really does feel like a fresh beginning for me.

After a week away in Thailand and what has honestly been a very chaotic and unpredictable Term 2, I can feel myself craving a different pace moving into Winter.

Slower.
More intentional.
Deep rest.

This Gemini New Moon is reminding me that sometimes the biggest shifts begin with changing the way we think, speak, live and move through our days.

I’m currently re-evaluating:
• my daily habits
• my rituals
• my energy
• what truly supports me in this season

And honestly… giving myself permission to stop forcing old versions of myself to keep up.

More on this soon 🤍

Thailand 🤍

This trip felt divinely timed.

After a very full, chaotic and unpredictable Term 2, this week away was exactly what my nervous system, body and heart needed.

Sunshine.
Rain (rainy season)
Beach and Pool time.
Massages.
A beautiful one-day Ayurvedic retreat.
Slow mornings.
No cooking.
Very little planning.
And lots of quality time with Noah and Summer.

A simple reminder that sometimes the most productive thing we can do is step away from the noise long enough to refill our own cup again.

This holiday deeply reminded me of the importance of seasonal space, and how supportive it is to intentionally carve out time to stop, reset and refuel before life speeds up again.

Very grateful for this beautiful week away 🌿

Did you know there are a few powerful dates each year that are essential for carving out space for ritual, reflection, and reset?

Winter Solstice is one of the most sacred.

For thousands of years, ancient cultures honoured this turning point through stillness, fire ceremonies, reflection, and ritual. They understood something modern life has forgotten:
Nature was never meant to bloom all year round.

Winter is not a season to constantly push, hustle, override exhaustion, or ignore your nervous system.

It’s a season to slow down.
To reconnect.
To listen.
To restore.

This week on the podcast, I’m sharing the deeper meaning behind Winter Solstice, why ritual matters more than ever, and how this season impacts our nervous system, emotions, energy, and wellbeing.

And if your soul is craving a deeper pause, I would love to invite you to join me for my online Winter Solstice Ritual Event on June 21st at 7pm AEST.

🕯 Beautiful rituals
🕯 Nervous system support
🕯 Guided meditation & Yoga Nidra
🕯 Reflection & journaling
🕯 Restorative movement
🕯 Deep reset & reconnection

Replay available if you can’t attend live.

W𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗢𝗟𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗥𝗜𝗧𝗨𝗔𝗟 𝗥𝗘𝗧𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧

I truly believe Winter Solstice is one of the handful of days each year where making intentional space for ritual really matters.

The world asks us to constantly keep going.

But Winter asks something different.

To pause.
To reflect.
To soften.
To listen inward.

So I’m creating a beautiful online evening to do exactly that.

An intentional space for:
🌙 ritual
🌙 nervous system restoration
🌙 reflection
🌙 restorative yoga
🌙 Yoga Nidra
🌙 reconnecting with yourself

Because rest is not something we magically find time for later.

We have to consciously create space for it.

And honestly… sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is honour the season we are actually in.

I would love to hold space for you this Winter Solstice 🤍

When was the last time you really stopped and deeply listened to your defaults?

In this deeply personal and emotional episode, Ilana vulnerably shares the real behind-the-scenes energy of the past few months, including motherhood, nervous system overwhelm, retreat reflections, and the powerful realisation that just because we can keep going doesn’t mean we always should. As we move into winter and June, this episode explores the importance of reflection, reassessing old defaults, honouring boundaries, and reconnecting with the season of life you’re truly in.

What you’ll hear in this episode:
🌿 Why June’s energy is calling for deep reflection, restoration, nervous system support, and honest self-leadership
🌿 The emotional moment Ilana realised she needed to stop pushing through and finally honour her own capacity
🌿 Powerful insights and patterns that emerged from her recent Reset Weekend Retreat with women feeling burnt out, disconnected, and overwhelmed
🌿 How to identify the defaults, stories, and survival patterns that are no longer sustainable
🌿 June’s astrological and energetic themes, including the Gemini New Moon, Capricorn Full Moon, Winter Solstice, and the wisdom of the winter season

This is one of Ilana’s most raw, vulnerable, heartfelt, and honest episodes. A beautiful reminder that healing isn’t always found in doing more… sometimes it’s found in finally permitting yourself.

🎧 If you’ve been feeling emotionally stretched, overwhelmed, disconnected, or quietly craving change, this episode will deeply resonate with you. Listen now at ilanak.com.au/podcast or your favourite podcast app.

There is something truly magical that happens when women gather.

Not to perform.
Not to achieve.
Not to give more of themselves away.

But to simply be.

This weekend, 10 incredible women stepped away from their everyday lives and into a space of rest, reflection, healing and reconnection.

Together we explored themes of self-worth, self-love, internal strength, burnout, boundaries, health, sisterhood, trust and what it means to come back home to yourself.

There were tears.
There was laughter.
There was deep rest.
Long sleeps.
Nourishing wholefoods.
Meaningful conversations.
Friendship.
Fire.
Ceremony.
Ritual.
Sound healing.
Cacao.
Nature.
And so many moments of quiet clarity.

One of the things I witness time and time again is how many women arrive disconnected from themselves.

Not because they have done anything wrong.

But because life asks so much of us.

Motherhood.
Work.
Relationships.
Caring for others.
Holding everything together.

And then something shifts.

The nervous system softens.
The masks drop.
The heart opens.

And women remember who they are underneath the responsibilities, expectations and mental load.

This is why I do this work.

Not because retreats are about escaping life.

But because they help us return to life more connected, more nourished and more authentically ourselves.

To the 10 women who trusted me, themselves and the process this weekend, thank you.

And to my beautiful retreat assistant Danae , thank you for your unwavering support, care and presence throughout the weekend.

My cup is full. 🤍

Next Reset Weekend Retreat is 16-18th October, to refuel your cup before the festive social season. Limited spots still available. Head to Ilanak.com.au/events to learn more.

This Blue Full Moon feels big!!!

After a more intentional May, this Sagittarius moon brings perspective, possibility and expansion.

It is time to clean away the dirt, muck and blocks getting in the way and start to see things differently.

I can already feel this energy asking:
• What future feels most aligned now? (not last week, month or quarter - NOW).
• What limitations or old narratives am I ready to release?
• Where am I ready to think bigger?

Sagittarius energy reminds us that growth begins internally first.

This moon is less about forcing the next chapter… and more about trusting where life is guiding you.

Dream bigger.
But stay grounded while you build it 🤍

What if the reason so many people feel burnt out, disconnected, or stuck… is because they’ve built their life backwards?

In this powerful conversation, Ilana sits down with author, entrepreneur, and speaker Tim Duggan to explore how redefining success, creating white space, and rethinking the role work plays in our lives can completely transform our wellbeing. Together, they unpack burnout culture, meaningful work, nervous system awareness, creativity, conflict, and why so many people are living on autopilot without even realising it.

What you’ll hear in this episode:
🌿 The simple but life-changing framework behind “working backwards” and why most people are living on default mode
🌿 Why burnout often happens when we lose connection to meaning, joy, creativity, and space
🌿 The surprising research around 20% meaningful work and its connection to stress and fulfilment
🌿 How creating white space and time to think can lead to clarity, creativity, and major life shifts
🌿 A fascinating discussion on conflict, communication, relationships, and emotional avoidance from Tim’s upcoming book.

This episode is a powerful reminder that success isn’t one-size-fits-all, and sometimes the bravest thing you can do is pause long enough to ask yourself what you actually want.

If you’ve been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or craving a different way of living and working, this is a must-listen conversation.

27/05/2026

The last two weeks did not go to plan.

And so many women in my community have shared similar stories lately.
Interestingly… almost the exact same thing happened last month too!

Sick.
My period is arriving.
Summer getting sick.
Rescheduling clients and events.

My nervous system feeling under pressure.
Which reminded me of something important:
“repeating patterns always carry wisdom”.

Life will keep tapping us on the shoulder until we slow down enough to listen.

I finally started feeling like I was finding my rhythm again on Monday… and then Summer got sick with a fever.

My weekend Retreat prep hasn’t flowed the way I imagined at all, which is this weekend.
My to-do list is definitely not complete.

And honestly, I’ve had to keep surrendering to what this season of life is asking from me instead.

As women, so many often fight against the season we’re in.
We try to push through exhaustion.
Push through motherhood.
Push through stress.
Push through our intuition when it’s quietly asking us to slow down or pivot.
But life has a way of humbling us back into the present moment.

And maybe the lesson isn’t always: “How do I keep up?”
Maybe sometimes it’s: “How do I support myself better through this season?”

This past fortnight has reminded me again that sustainability matters more than perfection, one of my core values this year.
That rest is productive.
That slowing down is wise.
And that sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is honour where we actually are instead of where we think we should be or do.

A huge thank you to the incredible women who have supported me these past two weeks and months. Community really matters in seasons like this 🤍

So if life feels a little messy, delayed, emotional or slower than expected right now…
you’re not failing.

You may simply be in a season asking for a different rhythm. 🌿

Comment YES if you can relate to this too right now!
