Three days.
No cooking.
No cleaning.
No endless to-do list.
Just time to breathe.
To rest.
To reconnect with yourself.
To remember who you are beneath all the roles you hold.

Imagine spending a weekend surrounded by nature, nourishing food, restorative yoga, meditation, meaningful conversations and a beautiful community of women who, like you, are choosing to make themselves a priority.

Most women think they need more energy.

Often, they need better ways to support the energy they already have.

One of my favourite practices is ๐—ง๐—ต๐˜†๐—บ๐˜‚๐˜€ ๐—ง๐—ฎ๐—ฝ๐—ฝ๐—ถ๐—ป๐—ด.

It takes around a minute and is something I often recommend when you're feeling overwhelmed, depleted or like you've taken on everyone else's stress.
The best part?

You don't need any special equipment or lots of spare time.

Simply tap the centre of your chest while taking slow breaths and repeating an affirmation that reflects how you want to feel.

"I am calm."
"I am safe."
"I am grounded."

Then pause for a moment and notice what changes.

Sometimes the smallest daily rituals create the biggest shifts over time.

Last month tested me in ways I never expected.

Going into July, I thought it would be a month of work, family and finding my flow.

Instead, life had other plans.

I cracked a rib.

Summer became really unwell, and we found ourselves in Emergency twice.

There were sleepless nights, cancelled workdays and moments where I wondered how I was going to juggle everything.

And yet, amongst all of that...
๐Ÿต๏ธI still had the privilege of holding space for my beautiful clients.
๐Ÿต๏ธI ran my Winter Reset Masterclass.
๐Ÿต๏ธWelcomed 12 incredible women into Winter Reset.
๐Ÿต๏ธRecorded my podcast.
๐Ÿต๏ธPrepared for my October Weekend Reset Retreat.
๐Ÿต๏ธWe celebrated birthdays, spent precious time together as a family, and even made it to Disney on Ice.

Life didn't stop being beautiful simply because it was hard.
And that's probably my biggest lesson from July.

The tools I teach didn't stop life from being messy. They helped me move through the mess without losing myself.

I still chose my daily walks.
I found moments for meditation.
I had a few nourishing baths.
I asked for help.
I moved appointments when I needed to.
And I gave myself permission to do less.

Was I still tired?
Absolutely.

Is my tank completely full?
Not yet.

But I'm no longer running on empty either.

July reminded me that resilience isn't about pushing through.
It's about knowing when to soften.

It's about supporting yourself before you completely unravel.
As I step into August, these are the reminders I'm taking with me:
โœจ Rest is preventative, not a reward.
โœจ Small pauses matter more than perfect routines.
โœจ It's okay to let some balls drop.
โœจ Asking for help is a strength.
โœจ White space isn't wasted time. It's where we refill our tank.
โœจ Your nervous system deserves support before it reaches burnout.

And maybe the biggest reminder of all...

Your tools aren't there to stop life from testing you. They're there to help you move through the hard seasons without abandoning yourself.

I'd love to know...

What's one lesson July taught you that you'll carry into August?

With love,

Comment โ€œENERGYโ€ โšก๏ธ and Iโ€™ll send you my free Energy Tools Guide.

If youโ€™re constantly exhausted, overwhelmed, reactive or feeling like youโ€™re not quite yourself, your body may be carrying more stress than you realise.

When stress becomes "normal", you might stop noticing how much itโ€™s affecting you.

Feeling wired but tired.
Snapping at the people you love.
Struggling to switch off.
Feeling overwhelmed by things youโ€™d normally handle.

Your body is always communicating with you, and sometimes these are signs that something needs your attention.

You donโ€™t need to wait until youโ€™re completely depleted to start supporting yourself.

Small body-based practices can help you pause, reconnect and begin shifting your energy.

How often do you tell yourselfโ€ฆ

Iโ€™ll book the appointment when work settles down.
Iโ€™ll get back to yoga when I have more time.
Iโ€™ll rest after this busy week.
Iโ€™ll prioritise myself when life calms down.

But what if life doesnโ€™t calm down?

Last week reminded me exactly why the tools, rituals and white space I teach matter.

Life went sideways.
My plans changed.
My capacity changed.

And instead of abandoning myself, I adjusted.

I cancelled things. Lowered my expectations. Asked what was essential. Took small moments to walk, breathe, meditate and create white space.
Self-care isnโ€™t something we save for the spacious weeks.

Itโ€™s learning how to include yourself in the life youโ€™re already living, especially when life feels messy.

This week on The Energy Shift Podcast, E270, Iโ€™m talking about why we need both micro and macro resets, and why waiting for life to slow down before prioritising yourself is a pattern worth changing.

Whatโ€™s one thing youโ€™ve been putting off until โ€œthings calm downโ€?

The Aquarius Full Moon feels like a mirror for the future.

A chance to see where youโ€™ve grown, what youโ€™ve outgrown and what no longer fits the person youโ€™re becoming.
For me, this Full Moon is about releasing the uncontrollable and the hiding.

The last few months have reminded me again and again that I cannot control everything. Sickness, motherhood, plans changing, work shifting, life unfolding differently than expected.

What I can choose is how I respond.

Iโ€™m also releasing the parts of me that still want to hide, hold back or wait until everything feels perfectly together before allowing myself to be seen.

Because Julyโ€™s theme of Embodied Alignment has been about exactly this:
๐ŸŒ•Not just knowing what needs to change.
๐ŸŒ•Living it.
๐ŸŒ•Tightening the boundaries that have loosened.
๐ŸŒ•Honouring the slower pace my body has been asking for.
๐ŸŒ•Creating more white space.
๐ŸŒ•Being visible even when life isnโ€™t perfect.

And trusting the direction Iโ€™m moving in, even when I donโ€™t control every step along the way.

This Full Moon isnโ€™t asking us to change overnight.

Itโ€™s asking us to be honest about what weโ€™ve outgrown, release what no longer belongs, and make space for the person weโ€™re becoming.

For me:
I release what I cannot control. I release the need to hide. I trust myself to be seen, evolve and move forward in alignment.

What are you ready to release under this Full Moon?

For years, women have been taught to optimise.

Do more.
Push harder.
Stay productive.
Keep going.

And where has it got us?

Exhausted.
Depleted.
Overwhelmed.

With far too many tabs open, both on our computers and in our minds.

Most women don't need another productivity strategy.

They need a recovery strategy.

Last week during my free masterclass, I asked 21 women to check in with their energy.

Many rated themselves between 2 and 6 out of 10.

When I asked how much of their energy was going towards everyone else, some women answered 90%, 95%, even 98%.

The biggest barriers to rest weren't motivation or knowledge.

It was guilt.
Time.
Boundaries.

And the belief that everyone else should come first.

If any of that resonates with you, please know you're not alone.

Most women don't need another productivity strategy.
They need a recovery strategy.

That's exactly why I created Winter Reset.

An 8-week online retreat to help women create white space, regulate their nervous system, and stop running on fumes.

Nervous system tools aren't for when life is calm. They're for weeks like this!

This was Friday night.

Back in ED with my daughter after a week of sickness, coughing and breathing issues.

And honestly, this week has been A LOT.

I cracked a rib.

We've been in ED twice.

Summer had two days off childcare, plus Tuesday so my working week disappeared.

I ran my masterclass Wednesday night.

Opened Winter Reset on Thursday.

Saw five clients.

Rescheduled others.

Spent Friday night in ED until 2.30am before getting up Saturday morning to see clients.

This week wasn't about thriving.

It was about moving through a really hard week without completely depleting myself in the process.

I couldn't change what was happening externally around me.

But I could change what I expected from myself.

I said no to what wasn't essential.

I let things drop.

I carved out small pockets of white space.

I walked when I could.

I used restorative yoga.

I took short pauses to meditate, breathe, took baths and regulate my nervous system.

And I kept checking in with one question:
What do I actually have capacity for today?

This is why I believe so deeply in having these tools BEFORE life gets hard.

Nervous system regulation isn't about creating a perfectly calm life.

Kids get sick.

Work gets disrupted.

Plans change.

Hard weeks, months or seasons happen.

It's about having practices that help you come back to yourself when everything around you feels like a lot or is falling apart.

And this is exactly what we're going to practise inside the Winter Reset.

Not another thing to achieve.

A weekly space to reset, refill your tank and build tools that support you in real life.

Comment WINTER and I'll send you the details.
