We accept GP Medicare Plans, private health, NDIS (self and plan-managed), TAC and DVA, and also provide Telehealth and in-home visits across the Bayside area. Simple exercise to improve walking confidence.

Strong lower legs play an important role in balance, walking confidence and staying active as we age.

This simple weight-bearing exercise helps strengthen the muscles that support everyday activities such as walking, climbing stairs and getting around the community. It may also help support bone health.

Use a chair for support if needed and always exercise within your own capabilities.

We currently have availability for new clients through My Aged Care and NDIS pathways.

Our Exercise Physiology programs are individually prescribed to support mobility, balance, strength and everyday function.

We work with GPs, carers, support coordinators and families to provide safe, practical exercise support.

Simple exercises done on the bed can still build strength.

This movement helps strengthen the hips, legs and lower back which support walking, getting out of chairs and everyday movement.

Press through your feet and gently lift your hips in a slow controlled movement.

Exercises should always be tailored to your individual needs by a qualified Exercise Physiologist.

Many people are surprised how effective simple movements can be.

The right program depends on the individual person — their mobility, strength, balance, confidence, goals and health conditions all matter.

That’s why Exercise Physiology programs are individually prescribed and adjusted over time as people progress.

Even within supervised small group sessions, programs are tailored to the individual person and their current ability.
