Nicki graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy) from Curtin University (2010). She has a Professional Certificate in Pain Sciences from University of South Australia (2023). Nicki is currently on the APA Branch Council (Tasmania). She has worked in the UK and Hobart. Nicki is looking forward to working with you to achieve your goals.

Regular skin checks are an important part of looking after your health, especially in Australia where skin cancer is common. Checking your skin helps identify changes early, when treatment is most effective.
You should look out for new or changing moles, spots that don’t heal, changes in colour, size or shape, or anything that looks different from the rest. If you notice something concerning, it’s important not to ignore it.

Your GP can assess your skin, monitor changes over time, and advise if further investigation is needed. If you’re due for a skin check or have noticed a change, please book an appointment to discuss it with your doctor.

We’re pleased to welcome Natasha Kumar, Registered Psychologist, who will be consulting at Brighton Regional Doctors on Wednesdays.

Natasha offers ADHD and Autism assessments for individuals aged 10 years and over, supporting adolescents and young adults to better understand their strengths and challenges.

Natasha is a registered psychologist with several years of experience, having previously worked as a social worker and now as a psychologist across youth shelters, youth health services (Department of Health) and the Tasmanian Prison Service. She has extensive experience providing individual and group therapies and supporting clients with a range of mental health and life challenges.

Her approach is safe, collaborative and non-judgemental, helping clients feel heard, understood and supported. Natasha uses evidence-based therapies including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and Solution-Focused Therapy.

Appointments are available at Brighton Regional Doctors for clients aged 10+.

If you have an upcoming appointment with us, we kindly remind you to check your booking details and arrive a few minutes early where possible. If you’re unable to attend, please let us know as soon as you can so we can offer the appointment to another patient.
