Sick of walking this path of a late diagnosis alone? I get it. I don't have many neurodivergent friends so I created a neuro network in person event. First Wednesday of every month. You find it here:

Come meet your network! Share stories, have a laugh and build authentic connections.

Something I’ve noticed in this community: Late diagnosis doesn’t just change how you understand yourself. It changes how you understand your whole life up to this point. Every job that was harder than it should have been. Every relationship where you felt like too much. Every time you pushed through when you should have stopped. You weren’t failing. You were operating without the right information. You have it now. That matters.

Someone messaged me last week after doing the 'You Were Never The Problem' course. They said: 'I’ve spent two years since my diagnosis reading everything I could find. This is the first thing that made me feel understood rather than explained at.' That’s what I built it for. If you’ve been diagnosed — recently or not so recently — and you’re still trying to make sense of what it means for your life, this is for you.

It’s $27. No fluff, no generic advice.

A 90-minute self-paced course on post-diagnosis grief for late-diagnosed ADHD and autistic adults. Honest, grounded, $27 AUD. Immediate access.

One thing that helped me after my late diagnosis that nobody told me about: Writing down the things that drain me versus the things that restore me — not as a productivity exercise, but as evidence. Evidence that I’m not being difficult. Evidence that my needs are real and specific. Evidence I could show myself on the hard days. If you haven’t done this yet, it’s worth 20 minutes.

I talk through this in the 'You Were Never The Problem' course if you want a guided version. You can find it here: https://www.neurodivergencevoice.com/digital-courses

Something I want you to hear if you were diagnosed late: The fact that you held it together for so long without knowing? That wasn’t weakness. That was an extraordinary amount of compensating for a brain running on instructions written for someone else. You didn’t fail the system. The system didn’t have you in it. You’re not starting from scratch now. You’re starting from understanding. There is support out there!

Share this with someone who needs it today. Please consider joining the Neuro-Tribe Facebook group and / or subscribing to our exclusive online group to join weekly zoom meetings and have a private forum

A weekly live Zoom session and private community for late-diagnosed ADHD and autistic adults. $20/month, cancel anytime. Run from Brisbane, open Australia-wide.

Quick question for the late-diagnosed adults in here: What’s the one thing you wish someone had told you in the first year after your diagnosis? I’ll start: that grief is a completely normal part of this process. You’re not being dramatic. You’re processing decades of not knowing.🌟

I spent about 35 years thinking I was just bad at being a person. Bad at keeping up. Bad at remembering things that seemed easy for everyone else. Bad at not feeling everything so intensely it was exhausting. Then I got a diagnosis, and someone handed me a different rulebook. One that actually matched how my brain had been working all along. It didn’t fix everything. But it changed the question from 'what’s wrong with me' to 'what did I never get told?' If that resonates — you’re in the right place.

Drop a 👋 if you’ve been there. And grab the free guide in my bio — it’s where I start with everyone.
