The bell 🔔
It means so much, it marks the end of Dylan’s cancer journey. But this journey has been filled with so many blessings. The bell may signal the end of treatment for Dylan but honestly this journey has brought so many beautiful memories, people & love into our lives.
Our friends who are now family, you are all so incredibly inspiring. We could never thank you enough for your support, courage and love. We will continue to be your biggest cheer squad for your journeys.
To the staff at 5C who will now and forever be in our hearts, especially our incredible Oncologist Dr Natacha and her team, our very special Social Worker Edie and our wonderful Therapist Emma. The admiration and gratitude we share for you all can never be put into words.
Dylan will have 3 monthly scans for surveillance for several years and will also need to undergo a small surgery to have his port removed, once his levels stabilise after this round of treatment.
But today marks the end of intensive treatment, weekly hospital visits and being away from home. The future looks so incredibly different, it will be full of big celebrations and amazing milestones.
