Community pharmacy was on show at the recent G’day Little Queenslanders community event in Brisbane South, with Guild member Michael Thorp and the team from Carina Day and Night Pharmacy delivering off-site flu vaccinations to families.

G’day Little Queenslanders is a Queensland Health led community event focused on supporting young families, new parents and caregivers, bringing together health services and community organisations in an accessible, family-friendly setting.

On the day, the Carina Day and Night Pharmacy team administered 103 vaccinations, including 21 FluMist doses and 82 injections. Of these, 52 were delivered to children and 51 to adults attending the event.
