We’re hiring! ❤️ Community Coordinator

This isn’t your typical desk job.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys being out in the community, building relationships and working alongside participants and our support workers.

As a Community Coordinator, you’ll be the link between our participants, families, DSWs and the Operations Manager. You’ll be checking in with people, supporting our frontline team, keeping an eye on service coverage and making sure things are running well on the ground.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has experience in disability, community services or frontline leadership
• Understands NDIS service delivery
• Is confident supporting and guiding support workers
• Can communicate clearly and keep good records
• Is comfortable working independently and using their judgement
• Has a current NDIS Worker Screening Check, driver's licence and reliable vehicle

You'll probably enjoy this role if you're the kind of person who follows things through, stays calm when things get messy and isn't afraid to speak up when something isn't right.

Celebrating the good in the NDIS. That is what “Better Together” is all about. 🌟

Heart-Led Support is proud to be part of this NDIS Collaboration Event, bringing providers together in Toowoomba to share good news stories, strengthen collaboration, and build better outcomes for participants across the sector.

Speakers include Clear Sky Allied Health, Project SEARCH, and My Plan Manager, with more to be announced.

📅 Friday, 4 September
🕙 10am – 2pm
📍 George Banks, Toowoomba (location details TBA)
🎟️ Ticket holders only, tea, morning tea, and catered lunch included

This event is about networking, education, positive media coverage, and strengthening our sector, together. All profits go toward community initiatives supporting people living with physical disability and dignity.

Development Day, captured in a nutshell. 💙💜

A full day out at Highvale, away from the noise, immersed in nature, and genuinely connected to the wider Heart-Led Support team. Mindset sessions that pushed people think differently. Presentations that sparked real reflection. Conversations that went deeper than small talk. A shared BBQ that brought the whole day together.

It’s more than professional development, it’s about building a stronger, more connected team so we can continue making a difference in the lives of the people we support. 🙌

Ever wondered what a good day at the bowling alley looks like with the Heart-Led Support team? Here it is. 🎳👇

Someone always calls their strike before the ball even leaves their hand. Someone always insists the lane is “off.” And somehow, the scoreboard becomes less important than the banter happening around it.

But the best part is not any of that.

It is the cheering when someone nails it, and the encouragement when they don’t. It is a room full of people just enjoying being together.

Always a pleasure getting out and about with the team. 🤝

Staff introductions are a key part of making sure supports get off to a good start, and today’s coffee catch-up was exactly that. Aaron and Daniel are a couple of ripper humans, and it showed.

There isn’t an event Ivan skips. BBQ Wednesday, Fishing Day, it doesn’t matter, he’s always there, always smiling, always part of the fun. 🙌

Today it was his turn to be celebrated instead. One candle, one cake, and a whole lot of appreciation for a guy who never misses a chance to join in. 💙🫶
