Meet Lizalet Oosthuizen, Accredited Practising Dietitian and the dietitian behind The Menopause Dietitian. 🌻
Lizalet holds a Bachelor of Science in Dietetics and a Master of Science in Nutrition, bringing both strong academic knowledge and practical experience to her work with women navigating perimenopause and menopause.
Her focus includes gut health, anti-inflammatory eating, whole foods and sustainable nutrition habits, helping women understand what is actually happening in their bodies rather than becoming overwhelmed by conflicting nutrition advice.
Going through the menopause transition herself also gives Lizalet a personal understanding of how confusing and frustrating this stage can feel.
Her approach is focused on practical, evidence-informed nutrition that supports energy, strength, overall health and long-term wellbeing without relying on restrictive or unrealistic strategies.
Her message is simple: menopause does not have to mean feeling disconnected from yourself.
We’re so excited to have Lizalet bringing her nutrition expertise to Thrive at Every Stage.
