💃🕺 Dance Elective in Action! 🎶

Just a few photos from the Year Ten Dance Elective, where our students explored a wonderful variety of dance styles from around the world! 🌏✨
From the graceful movements of Chinese fan dancing and the energy of hip hop, to jazz, line dancing, Aboriginal dance and Irish dancing, there was plenty of rhythm, creativity and fun on display.
Our students have been learning new movements, expressing themselves through dance and enjoying the opportunity to try something different. We love seeing their confidence and enthusiasm shine! ❤️🖤

Congratulations to our amazing Inter-School Ten Pin Bowling team for coming 2nd in the Inter-School competition held at Logan Ten Pin each week. The students have been bowling all team, working on and improving their skills and we are so proud of their achievements.
Congratulations to Logan Special School for coming 1st and to Calamvale Special School for coming 3rd! We had a lot of fun! 🤩🎳

Our Year 10 Digital Technology Elective students have been enjoying programming the screenless robot, Indi. Using coloured tiles to provide directional instructions, students have been developing their coding and algorithm skills in a fun and engaging way. The new floor grids, complete with movable obstacles, have made planning and programming their pathways even more interactive and enjoyable. It has been wonderful to see the students embrace the unit while continuing to build their understanding of coding, algorithms and problem-solving.

🛍️ School Op Shop Update 🛍️

A reminder that our school Op Shop will be closed to the public next week (14th - 18th September)

We would also like to say a huge thank you to our wonderful public and community for the generous donations of clean and useable goods. Your kindness and support help make our Op Shop such a valuable part of our school. ❤️

A friendly reminder that we are unable to accept dirty, stained or broken goods. Please ensure all donations are clean and in good, useable condition before dropping them off.

Our Years 5 & 6 students and RDSS Running Team had a fantastic time at the Darling Point Fun Run, walking, running and wheeling their way around the course alongside friends and family. It was wonderful to see so many students giving their best, encouraging one another and enjoying being part of the day.

A big thank you to the parents and carers who volunteered their time to support the event. We really appreciate your help and enthusiasm.

Congratulations to all students who participated, and a special acknowledgement to our Junior Boys (Brandon, 1st; Archer, 2nd; Kingston, 3rd), Junior Girls (Magen, 1st), and Senior Boys (Isaiah, 2nd) for their outstanding placings in the run. We are very proud of you all!
