This is the Queensland speed machine rated the fastest player in Australian rugby league.
Toowoomba sensation Chris Woodbridge has clocked a staggering 38.8km/h this season playing in the Queensland Cup β eclipsing the NRLβs top-speed record held by Eels flyer Josh Addo-Carr (38.5km/H).
Underlining Woodbridgeβs scorching speed, Australian track star Gout Gout, 18, averaged 36.6km/h when he last month clocked 19.67sec to break the under-20s world record over 200m.
Woodbridge may not be as fast as Bolt, but the Indigenous speedster has caught the eye with some remarkable solo tries this season in his maiden year in the Queensland Cup.
Since the Telstra speed tracker was introduced to the NRL in 2017, the fastest players recorded have included Addo-Carr, Jason Saab (37.7km/h), Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow (36.8km/h), Latrell Mitchell (36.6km/h) and Xavier Savage (36.1km.h).
But the Toowoomba tornado has them all covered.
