If you were to spend a day with me, you’d quickly discover that I’m working with a few plant allies at the moment. 🌿 🫖
I Love las Plantas!
In the mornings, I’m drinking a blend of spearmint leaf, ginger root, licorice root, lemon myrtle, Siberian ginseng root, hibiscus flower, ginkgo leaf, lemongrass, olive leaf, echinacea root & rose petals.
In the evenings, I reach for nettle, lemon balm & passionflower to support my nervous system, stress levels & overall wellbeing.
The older I get, the more I find myself returning to simple things.
A cup of tea.
A moment in the garden.
Watching the seasons change.
Remembering that we are part of nature. Now ladies, what I’m about to share might sound a little unconventional to some...
For many years, I’ve carried memories of a past life where I was a teacher of plant medicine.
I shared my knowledge with others & sold herbs & plants at the local market when I wasn’t teaching. I remember being a strong, stocky European woman with weathered hands, a deep connection to the land & a wisdom that came from lived experience.
She looks nothing like me in this lifetime. Yet I know her.
I remember her devotion to plants, commitment to teaching others & her daughter.
The daughter I had in that lifetime is my daughter in this one.
Across different lifetimes, our souls found each other again. 🩷🩷
I believe that’s why Reiki, energy work, circles, teaching & plant medicine have always felt so natural to me. They feel like something I returned to.
As I’ve deepened my relationship with plants in this life, I’ve often reflected on that woman & her journey.
Her life taught me a few things: that healing can be found in plants. The Earth is always speaking. Wisdom lives within us long before we have words for it. Women who carry knowledge have often been feared.
I’d love to know...
Is there a plant, place, tradition or culture that feels deeply familiar to you, even if you can’t explain why?
