Support Worker Positions Available – Chermside & Narangba 🌟
Join the Davange Care Team!

Davange Care is looking for experienced, compassionate, and dedicated Female Support Workers to join our growing team. We currently have opportunities available across Chermside and Narangba, supporting participants with complex care needs.
We are seeking Support Workers who have experience with:

✅ Supporting individuals with ASD Level 3.
✅ Supporting participants with challenging behaviours.
✅ Supporting individuals with high and complex support needs.
✅ PEG feeding.
✅ Epilepsy management.
✅ Hoisting and manual handling.
✅ Completing all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including feeding, showering, toileting, grooming, dressing, and personal care.
✅ A Certificate IV in Disability, Individual Support, Community Services, or a higher qualification (preferred).

Current Opportunities:

📍 Chermside
Female Support Workers only.
Supporting a mature female participant with ASD Level 3.
1:1 support with all aspects of daily living, personal care, and community participation.
Previous experience supporting someone with ASD Level 3 is essential.

📍 Narangba
Female Support Workers only.
Supporting a participant with high and complex care needs.
2:1 support worker-to-participant ratio during the day, with active overnight shifts.
Previous experience with PEG feeding, epilepsy management, hoisting, and complex personal care is essential.

Pyjama Day at DaVange Group 💗

Today our team swapped uniforms for pyjamas to support Pyjama Day and help raise funds for children and young people living in foster care.

It was a morning filled with coffee, pastries, plenty of laughs, and maybe a little too much healthy competition over who had the best PJs! 🧸☕🥐

More importantly, it was a chance to support a cause that means a great deal to us. Every child deserves to feel safe, supported and valued, and we’re proud to stand alongside the incredible foster carers who open their homes and hearts every single day.

At DaVange Group, we have team members with lived experience as foster carers, who see firsthand the love, commitment and resilience it takes to make a difference in a child’s life. Their dedication is something we’re incredibly proud of.

A huge thank you to everyone who dressed down, donated, baked, decorated, and helped make today such a success. It’s a reminder that small acts of kindness, when done together, can have a big impact.

Special mention to Little Oxley - Caffeinate and Banjo's Bakery Cafe for keeping us caffeinated and full of pastries.

DaVange Group is taking part in National Pyjama Day! 💗

This one means a lot to us. We’re so lucky to have some incredible foster carer heroes within our own team, as well as staff with lived experience of foster and kinship care.

Through our work with Queensland Foster and Kinship Care, we see the difference that safe, supportive homes can make for children and young people.

So... we’re putting on our favourite PJs with a goal to raise $1,000 for this wonderful cause.

A night celebrating stories that matter. 💙💛

Last night, Team DaVange had the privilege of attending the launch of Season 3 of Abilitv.

Produced by the wonderful team at Trending Media Australia, AbiliTV is more than a TV show. It’s a platform that combines entertainment with empowerment, sharing the stories of people with disability, challenging stereotypes and proving that inclusion belongs in every part of our community.

What makes it even more special is that people with disability are at the heart of creating the show. From presenting and producing to filming and editing, AbiliTV is creating real opportunities while changing the conversation around disability.

It’s also incredibly special to see something this innovative begin right here on the Redcliffe Peninsula. That simply would not have been possible without the relentless support and advocacy of Kerri-Anne Dooley, who has backed this vision from the very beginning and continues to champion a more inclusive community.

Congratulations to everyone involved in bringing Season 3 to life. We are proud to support a project that is not just telling stories, but creating opportunities and inspiring change.

DaVange Care is currently seeking the final housemate to join two young men in one of our established Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes in Mango Hill.

This opportunity would be well suited to a young male participant with 1:3 SIL funding (or equivalent supports) who is looking for a welcoming home environment, compatible housemates, and support from an experienced team.

As a registered NDIS provider, DaVange Care is committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred supports that help participants build independence, develop life skills, and enjoy meaningful community participation.
