Salmon DNA in a treatment? What is it actually doing?

Also known as Rejuran, Salmon DNA treatments contain polynucleotides derived from salmon DNA, which are used to support the body’s natural repair processes.

But it’s not about an instant transformation. The treatment may support tissue quality, hydration, texture and elasticity as the response develops over time.

And importantly, it isn’t the right treatment for every concern or every person. Understanding what you’re actually looking to address comes first.

That’s why at Eternal Youth Brisbane, treatment starts with a personalised consultation and clinical assessment.

If you're new here, welcome! :)

Whether you're exploring aesthetic treatments for the first time or looking for a clinic that takes a personalised approach, I want you to know that your journey won't be treated like anyone else's.

Every recommendation begins with understanding your goals, discussing what may be appropriate for you, and creating a treatment plan that evolves alongside you. I believe in educating my clients, setting realistic expectations, and achieving natural, balanced outcomes that still feel like you.

If you're looking for a trusted non-surgical aesthetics clinic in Brisbane, I'd love to welcome you to Eternal Youth.

Book your consultation via the link in bio.

One of the most common questions after Rejuran treatment is, "Are those little bumps normal?"

The answer is yes.

What you're seeing is the product sitting just beneath the surface immediately after treatment.

These small bumps are an expected part of the process and typically settle as the product is absorbed.

Rejuran contains polynucleotides derived from salmon DNA and is commonly used as a treatment that may support the skin's natural regenerative processes.

It is often chosen by those looking to improve overall skin quality, hydration, texture, and support a healthier-looking complexion over time.

While the bumps may look unusual if you've never seen them before, they are simply a temporary part of the treatment journey.

Social media often focuses on the final outcome, but understanding what to expect immediately after treatment is just as important. Knowing what's normal can help you feel more informed and comfortable throughout the process.

Have you ever wondered what happens in the hours immediately after a treatment?

It's easy to scroll past an after photo and wonder why your progress doesn't look the same. What we often forget is that a photo captures a single moment, not the full story behind it.

It doesn't show where that person started, what concerns they were addressing, how much time has passed, or the plan that helped them get there.

In aesthetics, comparing your progress to someone else's result can create unrealistic expectations because no two people have the same starting point, goals, or treatment journey.

The most valuable comparison isn't between you and someone you see online. It's between where you are today and where you were yesterday.

If you're considering treatment, focus on finding a plan that's right for you rather than chasing someone else's outcome.

Our very first Eternal Youth VIP Night ✨

I’m honestly so proud of how this night came together. There were definitely a few nerves behind the scenes, but the evening turned out even better than I imagined.

A few last-minute cancellations due to illness meant we had a slightly smaller group… which may have been a blessing because how I thought I was fitting 14 people into our little clinic space, I’m still not sure 😂

Such a beautiful night filled with education, skin, rejuvenation, ch*****ne, canapés, goodie bags, lots of laughs and great company!

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, to Kate Murtas for being part of the night, if it wasn’t for you I’m not sure the night would have happened! Thank you for encouraging me and pushing me along to organise and all of your help setting up and running around, you’re an absolute star. Thank you also to Kerry Campbell from Synergie Skin for joining us, sharing her knowledge and running skin consultations for our guests.

This was only the beginning… we’re already thinking Spring Fling or Christmas VIP Night next.

Next one will be bigger, and trust me — you’ll want to be on the list.

Who’s keen? 👀✨
