A Region Defined by Curves, Colour, and Character At the heart of this rebrand is a simple, striking letterform reimagined as a symbol of place, personality, and movement. Its typography takes inspiration from the rolling valleys of Samford, the gentle arc of Redcliffe, and the natural ripples of water that wind through the region. Evoking a sense of movement, calm and connection. But my favourite part has to be the two connecting O’s - a playful yet intentional design element that carries layered meaning. When joined, the O’s resemble a pair of binoculars, evoking discovery, exploration, and curiosity. A perfect visual metaphor for a region waiting to be explored from coast to countryside. The interlocking shape also speaks to connection between people, places, and experiences!
