QCGPplus

QCGP+ is a comprehensive sexual and mental health service, operated by The Queensland Council for LGBTI Health. Bulk billed on presentation of medicare card.

QCGP+ was established as Clinic 30 in 2014 at the Queensland Council for LGBTI Health (formerly Queensland AIDS Council) to meet our diverse communities needs for targeted sexual and mental health. QCGP+ provides services to Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Intersex, Queer, Sistergirl and Brotherboy people and communities; including GP Services, Sexual Health testing, Mental Health Counselling

. QCGP+ employs professionally trained clinicians and counsellors who understand the needs of our community. No need to "come out" to us. This service is bulk billed on presentation of a valid Australian/Reciprocal Medicare Card. No private billing available. For more information, feel free to contact us directly on (07) 3017 1777.

Your voice will help improve health messaging and support across Queensland.
If you are 16+, live in Queensland, and identify as a gay or bis*xual man, another man who has s*x with men (cis or trans), a trans woman, or a non-binary person, and have been s*xually active in the last six months, you're eligible to participate.

This World Hepatitis Day, we're supporting Hepatitis Queensland's call to action to help save lives and prevent hepatitis-related illness across our communities.

Today, June 15, is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (WEAAD) 🟣
This year’s theme, “Beyond Age”, reminds us that every older person’s identity, culture, community, and story matter 💜

For our 2Spirits Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and LGBTI+ Sistergirl and Brotherboy elders, respect means recognising lived experience, resilience, and connection, beyond age alone.

Elder abuse can take many forms, physical, emotional, financial, and neglect. It can be hidden, but it is never acceptable. Every older person has the right to feel safe, valued, and heard.

💜 Let’s stand together to raise awareness, strengthen communities, and protect our Elders.

Today, June 5, is HIV Long-Term Survivors Awareness Day.

We honour the resilience, strength, and leadership of people living long-term with HIV, trailblazers whose lived experiences continue to shape advocacy, care, and community.

As long-term survivors age, it’s vital they are not only seen, supported, and celebrated, but also cared for through systems that are inclusive, responsive, and grounded in dignity.
We reflect on our roots at 2Spirits and the Queensland Council for LGBTI Health, alongside the many individuals and communities who have stood strong in solidarity with people living with HIV, through every challenge and milestone.

At a time in our collective story where we face new issues and ways of working for our communities, we remember those lessons that long term survivors of HIV continue to share with us, and inspire us by, to remain committed and willing to do the work that is needed.
