Just because it worked for you
doesn’t mean it will work for me.

“Medicine isn’t magic” (we wish is was!) but…

It’s a journey of trial and error.
A series of educated guesses.
A balancing act between benefits and side effects.

The same pill that gives one person their life back might make another person miserable. The same treatment that brings relief might bring complications. Neither person is wrong.

We’re different people.
Different bodies.
Different chemistry.
Different battles.

So when someone says
“it worked for me”

that’s wonderful.

But it isn’t proof.
It isn’t a guarantee.
And it isn’t everyone’s story.

Because sometimes the hardest lesson in chronic illness is learning that what helps one warrior heal…

can make another warrior hurt.💜
