Open 7 days and most public holidays. Dr Maria Boulton & Dr Fiona Raciti founded Family Doctors Plus in 2016 with a view of providing "a completely different approach to family health" by combining traditional and holistic medicine. They are joined by a team of experienced doctors and allied health professionals. QML pathology is on site to perform blood tests and other investigations. We welcome

patients of all ages 7 days a week. We provide all general practice medical services-family health, pregnancy care, child health, women's health, men's health, aged care, travel medicine, all travel vaccinations, skin cancer checks, skin excisions, minor emergency care (eg grazes and lacerations) and mental health services. We provide the full spectrum of occupational medicine services and Qld and NSW Coal and Mineral Mine and Quarry Medicals. Our doctors are Appointed Medical Advisors through Corporate Doctors Plus. We care for residents in aged care and are currently working at facilities operated by Tricare. Our bespoke clinic is fresh and light. It has a dedicated kid's waiting area and kid's vaccination room. There is ramp access for prams and the parking is a breeze. We hold regular education events-eg. Are You Aged 75 or Over? You May Be Eligible for a Free RSV Vaccine๐Ÿซ

The Australian Government has expanded the National Immunisation Program to provide free RSV vaccination for people aged 75 years and over, helping protect older Australians from serious illness caused by Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV).

RSV is a common respiratory virus that can lead to severe infection, pneumonia and hospitalisation, particularly in older adults and those with chronic health conditions.

Need to see a GP but canโ€™t make it into the clinic?

Family Doctors Plus offers Telehealth consultations via phone and video (with selected doctors), so you can access care from wherever you are.

Telehealth is suitable for a range of appointments, including general advice, follow-ups, scripts, and results.

A few things to keep in mind:
โ€ข Not all doctors offer video consultations
โ€ข New patients are welcome, however Medicare rebates are not available for Telehealth if you havenโ€™t visited the clinic in person before.

This week is Food Allergy Week and this yearโ€™s theme focuses on anaphylaxis and knowing what to do in an emergency.

The message is simple but important: Recognise the signs. Be ready to react.

Anaphylaxis is a severe allergic reaction that can be life-threatening, and early recognition and treatment can save lives.

Everyone can play a role in being allergy aware:
โœ”๏ธ Know the signs and symptoms of anaphylaxis
โœ”๏ธ Have an allergy action plan in place
โœ”๏ธ Know how and when to use an adrenaline injector
โœ”๏ธ Act quickly in an emergency

Not recognising the signs of anaphylaxis or delaying treatment can have serious consequences.
