For a long time I thought Human Design was teaching me about type, strategy, authority, and about mechanics.

And it was.

But over time I have became more interested in something else.

Awareness.

What happens when we stop trying to become our design and start paying attention to our lived experience?

What are we noticing?

What patterns keep returning?

What are our sensitivities trying to show us?

The Reflector experience has taught me a lot about this, but I don't think these lessons belong to Reflectors alone.

Sensitivity belongs to all of us.

The question is whether we're willing to listen.

I've been exploring this further in a recent blog and podcast:

"The Question Beneath the Chart."

One of the things I've noticed in my work over the years is that many people become incredibly skilled at connection.

They know how to listen.

How to support.

How to show up.

How to understand others.

How to be needed.

How to belong.

Yet beneath all of that, there can be a quieter longing.

The longing to be known.

Not for what you do.

Not for the role you play.

Not for what you provide.

But for who you are.

I wonder how many of us spend years building connection while secretly craving intimacy.

Not more people.

Not more conversations.

Not more community.

Just a few places where we can lay down the roles and be fully ourselves.

This week's podcast and blog explore that distinction.

I'm curious...

✨ Which feels harder for you right now?

• Finding connection

• Finding intimacy

A question landed in my inbox recently from a fellow Reflector, and I've found myself returning to it again and again over the past week.

Do Reflectors experience loneliness more than other people?

The more I sat with the question, the less interested I became in loneliness and the more curious I became about intimacy.

Because they're not the same thing.

You can be surrounded by people and still feel unseen.

You can have friendships, family, community, and meaningful conversations, yet still find yourself longing for something deeper.

Not more connection.

More intimacy.

More being known.

More being met.

Perhaps what we're calling loneliness isn't always the absence of people.

Perhaps it's the absence of feeling truly seen.

I've been exploring this more deeply in this week's podcast, blog, and upcoming reflections.

I'm curious.

When was the last time you felt deeply known by someone?

This feels like one of those workshops that has been quietly waiting in the wings for a long time.

Human Design may have been the doorway for many people to find me, but underneath that has always been a fascination with people. Why we do what we do. Why we abandon ourselves. Why we stay stuck. Why some of us feel everything so deeply.

I'm looking forward to bringing those worlds together and sharing some of the deeper layers of my work.

One of the things I've been noticing lately is how easily awareness can become focused on everyone else.

Many of us become incredibly skilled at reading rooms, sensing shifts, noticing what people need, and tracking what's happening around us.

What interests me these days is a different question.

What happens when we turn that awareness back towards ourselves?

My latest blog post explores the space between awareness and self connection, and why they may not be the same thing.

It's a reflection on Human Design, sensitivity, nervous systems, adaptation, and the ongoing practice of returning to ourselves.

If you're subscribed to my weekly newsletter, you'll also receive a deeper exploration each Sunday through what I'm now calling This Week's Setup.

A gentle pause before the week begins.

A moment to notice what matters.

A moment to reconnect with yourself before life starts moving again.

Human Design gave me language for my sensitivity. Somatic work helped me understand what was happening underneath it.

You don’t need to understand someone to support them.

Some of us move in ways that don’t make sense at first.

We follow things we can feel before we can explain.

We change. We shift. We respond in real time.

This isn't confusion.. it's openness.

And the moment we’re questioned too quickly… something in us pulls back.

Not because we’re unsure.
Because we’re still in it.

The greatest gift you can give someone like this is space.

Let them try. Let them change. Let them not know yet.

And if this is you…
you’re not doing it wrong... you’re just moving in a different way

This is the work I do.
Helping you trust the way you move, even when it doesn’t make sense.

If this landed, you’ll know.

Update and taking about acceptance as a human

20/04/2026

A softer place to land this morning with the Australia Magpies as a teacher on my walk.

If you’re sensitive, you’re not meant to force clarity… you’re meant to notice what repeats.

The same feelings.
The same pulls.
The same patterns showing up in different forms.

This is how you start to know yourself.

I’m creating something to support this…
a way to gently track, recognise, and understand your own rhythm.

For now, just listen.
