Women's Health Week Day 5: To connect.

Humans are biologically wired for connection.

We thrive when we feel seen, supported and connected to others. Yet in a world where we're more connected digitally than ever before, many of us are experiencing less meaningful connection in our everyday lives.

Connecting could look like:
πŸ’› Calling a friend during your commute
πŸ’› Having a chat with a neighbour
πŸ’› Inviting someone for a coffee or walk
πŸ’› Checking in on a family member
πŸ’› Joining a local group, class or community event

Small moments of connection can have a powerful impact on our wellbeing. Today, make one small step and reach out to someone you've been meaning to connect with.

Thursday (Day 4): To breathe

Life can be busy, noisy and demanding. It's easy to spend so much time looking after everyone else that you forget to check in with yourself.

Mental wellbeing isn't about feeling positive all the time. It's about recognising when you need to slow down, ask for support, or make space for the things that help you feel grounded.

Today, give yourself permission to put your wellbeing on the list. Even if all you have time for is taking a few deep breaths or going for a walk around the block to clear your head. Do it anyway.

Wednesday's Women's Health Week theme is: To Rest

Sleep is one of most important things you can do for your health, yet for many women, a good night's sleep can feel out of reach. Between busy schedules, caring for others, work demands, stress, changing hormones, and the mental load of everyday life, rest is often the first thing to fall off the list.

This Women's Health Week, give yourself permission to prioritise rest.
That might mean going to bed a little earlier, putting your phone away before sleep, taking a short break during a busy day, or finally addressing a health concern that's been impacting your energy levels.

You don't need a perfect routine. Just one small step can make a difference.
