Beyond the Map: December in the Himalayas
The Everest Base Camp trek is often described as a test of grit, but the real magic is in the quiet moments. It’s the rhythm of your boots on the trail, the warmth of a teahouse after a long day, and the perspective you gain when you’re standing in the shadow of the world’s tallest peaks.
I'm finalizing our group for the December 2026 "Best of Both Worlds" expedition, and I’m looking for trekkers who value preparation and community as much as they value the view.
The Route: The classic Jiri path, plus the magic of Gokyo Lakes and Cho La Pass.
The Approach: Fully escorted, expertly led, and thoughtfully paced to prioritize your safety and enjoyment.
The Preparation: We train locally here in Brisbane, so by the time we land in Kathmandu, you’re already part of a team.
This is a trip for those who want to experience the mountains with full awareness and genuine curiosity. If you’re interested in joining us, let’s talk. Send me a DM or reach out at [email protected] for the details.
