💭 “I have funding left… so can I use it for this?”

It sounds like a simple question.

But when it comes to an NDIS plan, the answer can depend on where the funding sits, what the support is for and what your individual plan says.

That is why understanding a few Plan Management basics can make such a difference.

💡 Three things worth remembering:
1️⃣ Core and Capacity Building aren’t interchangeable labels.
They support different types of needs and goals.

2️⃣ Not every dollar in your plan is automatically flexible.
Some supports may be flexible, while stated supports need to be used according to the way they are described in your plan.

3️⃣ Ask before you spend when you’re uncertain.
A conversation before arranging a new support can be much simpler than discovering an issue when the invoice arrives.

A Plan Manager can help you understand your funding, monitor spending, process eligible provider invoices and keep records — but staying involved and understanding your own plan remains important too.
