Anti-aging Medicine World Congress (AMWC) Seoul Korea, June 2026

I was fortunate to attend the AMWC this year held in Seoul Korea.

Learnt so much about skincare and also some of the latest trends in aesthetic medicine, some backed by science and others with prominent marketing hype!

Take home message : injectables cannot be the only thing we do to slow down the aging process. I literally cannot perform a facelift within my scope of practice! The anti-aging journey must be combined with what we do at home (skincare) and a healthy lifestyle.

Met some wonderful people and reconnected with others, so important and valuable when we are solo practitioners.

Will I bruise???

Every time you come in for an injectable treatment there is ALWAYS a risk of bruising. If you have never bruised before you have just been super lucky 😃🤞

I managed to capture a selfie of SOME of my blood vessels on my forehead but I know there are plenty more hidden under the skin. 💥

In fact the ones I can see I am grateful for because I can avoid them, it is the ones I cannot see that are at risk of causing a bruise.

Please be mindful of this and I will always inject slowly and carefully but cannot promise you won’t bruise.

Wanted to post this as I was pretty impressed I could get a selfie showing so many blood vessels on my own forehead 🤣

Aesthetics23 conference …. from walking to flying 🦋

Whether we are beginner or advanced practitioners, we have all come to learn together from Aesthetics23 in Sydney.

Even with 9 years of experience there is so much to learn in this constantly evolving industry.

Can’t wait to take all my learnings back into clinic next week!
