A reflection on the wonderful connections in Walyalup. Every voice, Everywhere. VH2026 did not disappoint.
Freda Ogilvie, a proud Whadjuk/Ballardong woman, welcomed us to Country.
The three days were packed with highlights too many to mention....
Nurse led models of care, elevating the experiences of those living with or impacted by viral hepatitis were front and centre.
GILEAD education grants to AHA were gratefully utilized to enable attendance and participation of AHA members.
Relationships new and old forged in the networking opportunites during the packed programme. We look forward to doing it all again in 2027 at Wollongong.

The Primary Care Nursing and Midwifery Scholarship (PCNMS) program supports registered nurses and midwives to complete postgraduate study to support working in primary care.

Funding has been provided by the Australian Government and the scholarships will be administered by the Australian College of Nurse Practitioners (ACNP).

Can you see yourself in an advanced role? As a nurse practitioner or endorsed midwife, you can work independently and autonomously at an advanced level. This includes being able to prescribe medicines, diagnose health problems, order and interpret diagnostic tests, formulate treatment plans and refer to other clinicians.
