Dual bench is a must in your sauna but we also think it’s a must in your steam room 💨

We love it when clients think outside the cedar box. Who says every sauna has to look the same.

This is one of the coolest things we’ve built at TH7 Homelabs, and it’s now for sale.

Inside the container is a ventilated 4–6 person sauna with a 10 kW Tylö commercial heater, a two-person ice bath with its own 10 kW chiller, and a shower.

The AOP water treatment, cartridge filter, Pool Manager and other equipment are all tucked into a mini plant room. It has built-in smart controls, ABI Interiors fittings throughout and a high-end commercial finish.

I reckon it would be a great fit for a rural property, farm stay or Airbnb, or a business wanting to add a proper wellness space.

All it needs on site is three-phase power and water.

If you’d like the full details, send me a message.

Two rooms with the same floor area can need different heater outputs. Volume, glazing, insulation, wall construction and available electrical supply all affect selection. The right starting point is a complete room schedule, not a guess based on square metres.

A sauna’s ventilation path is largely decided at framing and rough-in. The inlet, outlet, heater, sensor and door arrangement need to work as one system, following the selected equipment instructions and the project design. These Ascot progress images show the point where that coordination is still visible.

An outdoor sauna starts with the route to it. Check how people reach the room, where water drains, how power arrives and whether the position protects privacy without blocking the best outlook. Solving the site first prevents the sauna becoming an isolated object in the garden.

This sequence shows a shower beside an enclosed heat room, with the circulation space shared between them. Door swing, drainage, privacy and the transition from wet stone to timber all meet in a small area. That junction deserves its own drawing, not an assumption on site.
