Week 3 back into gymming consistently and my body can feel it…

In the best way possible!

Mood, energy and pains are all improving (who would have thought😅)

And a small reminder that you don’t have to start with your ideal exercise plan.

While I’d love to be training more, I know it’s better to start off with something I KNOW is achievable and then work my way up to increasing the number of gym sessions in the week.

Sustainable habits aren’t a race. It’s okay to take your time, build up some consistent wins and then slowly add onto your routine to make it feel more manageable.

I thought I had my health routines pretty down pat…

And then I became a mum, and now everything takes 1000 x longer 🫣🥲 and time is a hot commodity

Some days I still battle time to shower or do the washing, let alone exercise and cook nutritious meals.

So despite people telling me not to worry about health and fitness in this phase of life (yes, people have actually said this to me) I know that taking care of my body makes me FEEL my best and that’s always a top priority.

SAVE these tips if you are lacking time but still wanting to prioritise your health and fitness routines

And don’t forget to comment any other hacks you use below (because we all need the help sometimes!)

I hated the gym until I stopped seeing it only as a weight loss tool.

And what do you know, once I started using movement for strength and improving my mood I actually started to enjoy it

Making this mindset shift was one of the biggest changes to my fitness

Now I want to move my body to feel stronger, healthier and happier

And I don’t need much more motivation than that 🤷🏻‍♀️

Surely it’s not just me 🫣😅

You don’t need to restart your habits because things didn’t go 100% to plan.

This whole mindset sets you up to believe that you’ve failed if you haven’t stuck to every single thing you wanted to.

Be happy for the things you did achieve and then keep working to pick up the other habits.

Move forward one step at a time to build a sustainable set of habits that will accelerate you towards your goals!

No you do not need to either scoff your entire chocolate stash or throw it in the bin.

EVEN if you have body composition goals, you can still enjoy your chocolate post Easter! 👌

It’s not about restriction, it’s not about being perfect.

It’s about creating a structure that helps you to feel a bit more in control of your chocolate intake (whatever you wish that to look like).

But don’t have your plan revolve around never seeing chocolate or you will eat it all 👎
