Thanks once again for all your support for the Bloody Long Walk 2026! The message shared with the group shot is from Louise - team captain and Kye's Mum. It was an absolute privilege to be part of Kye's Crew; I believe there were 36 of us in total this year. Looking forward to seeing even more in 2027 💚

Kye is three years old. He was born with the rare genetic condition Leigh Disease. His specific variant has 15 reported cases worldwide and Kye is the only one in Australia. Leigh Disease affects his ability to create energy for his cells and organs and causes rapid deterioration of body functions. The average life expectancy for this condition is 2-3 years. There is no cure, but with more research, we all hope that one day there will be.

Here’s a little peek at the less glamorous side of my work. A lot goes on behind the scenes — the research, notes, prep, follow-up, and all the admin in between. It's not the most exciting, but it helps me show up fully present for the part I love the most: working with ✨️YOU✨️ 🤍

When you spend so much of your life caring for others, it’s easy to ignore the signs that you need care too. Self-care isn’t selfish, indulgent, or something to squeeze in last. It is necessary, brave and even a bit rebellious!

My latest blog, Rebellious Acts of Care dares carers to unapologetically and genuinely meet your own needs, to thrive while truly supporting others.

Because the world needs carers. But carers need care too. ✨

Welcome to my morning workday ritual! I start each day by letting in the light and taking a few moments to focus on the gratitude I feel for this beautiful space to support clients. I then choose a card that sets the tone for the day and put it on display.

Rituals can turn ordinary moments into something sacred. They remind us to pause, listen and care for what matters most, helping us feel more grounded and aligned with how we want to move through our day. They can support emotional wellbeing by offering comfort, familiarity and a gentle way to return to yourself.

The Australian Bush Flowers I share on the cards in this video are:

Tall Yellow Top (Senecio magnificus): Focuses on overcoming feelings of alienation, loneliness, and isolation. Helps foster a sense of belonging, acceptance of self and others, and a feeling of being "at home"

Bauhinia (Lysiphyllum cunninghamii): Used to address resistance to new ideas, concepts, or changing circumstances. It promotes an open mind, acceptance, and the ability to embrace new experiences.

Macrocarpa (Eucalyptus macrocarpa): Known for enhancing inner strength, resilience, and vitality, especially when feeling overwhelmed, weary, or burdened. It is often used for restoring energy after a long illness or high stress.

Grey Spider Flower (Grevillea buxifolia): Designed to help with intense panic, terror, or acute fear. It supports a sense of calm, faith, and security, allowing for a more balanced emotional state.

Boronia (Boronia ledifolia): Used to calm a "chattering," worried, or obsessive mind. It helps promote mental clarity, serenity, and the ability to focus, making it excellent for meditation.

Happy International Dance day! 🤗
Here's a flashback to one of my family's projects during covid lockdown: 6 years ago, almost to the day. With Dave aka 'Lord of the Dance' being the definite star of the show, I know this brought us and our friends fun and joy at a time when we had a lot of uncertainty and needed some lightness. Our bodies were made to move. I hope this post gets you moving to your favourite song 🤗🩵

I'm heading overseas for the QLD April school holidays and will be unable to be contacted from 2nd-20th April 2026. If you would like to get in touch with an excellent kinesiologist while I'm away, I highly recommend my dear friend, colleague, and overall wonderful human, Mieken Falkenbach. She is the other "bird" at Two Birds Wellbeing Space. For any of my clients looking for some extra support while I'm away, please reach out to Falkenbach Holistic Healer.

It's Harmony Day 🧡 and has it ever felt so important as it does right now to find harmony in our world?? It feels so fitting to me that today is also the International Day of Forests. 🌳 As a lover of people and forests, I thought I'd share my favourite story from Ram Dass.
How different would our lives be, if we prioritised true harmony over defending our beliefs? How different could we feel, if we saw and accepted other people and ourselves, the way we see and accept trees, exactly as they are?

Tonight is a new moon - and today was my birthday! Feels like a great time to acknowledge and thank the wonderful humans I get to work with. There's nothing quite like witnessing someone's "Aha!" moment, and getting to celebrate the shifts they've created in their life. It's the gift that keeps giving 🥰 Thank you 🙏💕
