It’s National Volunteer Week, and this year’s theme is Your Year to Volunteer.

At AIU, our volunteers play a special part in helping doctors and healthcare professionals build practical ultrasound skills with real people in a supportive training environment.

To every volunteer who has spent time with us, shared a story over coffee, helped a learner practise scanning, or come back again and again — thank you. Our hands-on training simply would not be the same without you.

Happy Mother’s Day from AIU.

Today, we recognise the mothers, mums-to-be and maternal health professionals in our community.

Through our obstetric ultrasound training, we’re proud to support clinicians as they build practical skills for caring for mothers and babies.

We’re also grateful to our pregnant volunteers, whose time helps create real learning experiences for clinicians developing their ultrasound skills.

To all the mums and mums-to-be in our AIU community, we wish you a very happy Mother’s Day.

—Volunteers must be between 7-36 weeks gestation.
