Another conference in the books! Spent the last 5 days in Noosa listening to amazing speakers in the world of sports podiatry!

Lectures on gait retaining, bone stress injuries, shin pain and ankle sprains, which were all followed up by amazing workshops about the prior topics, meant that there was a great amount of knowledge and learning passed on over the conference.

Also couldn’t complain with 5 days of beautiful weather ☀️ always one of the best conferences on the calendar, I’m excited for the next one to come!

Spent the day yesterday down at taking in and learning from the great man Sam Turner ().

Sam’s experience includes being a consultant/podiatrist for North Melbourne (AFL/AFLW) as well as Western United in the A-League.

From learning about incorporating equipment and testing equipment into consultations, how to structure appointments and business tips and tricks, it was a great day. Thank you so much Sam!

Spent Monday down in Ballarat at MARS Stadium brushing up and learning more about diagnosing, managing and building capacity in the foot & Ankle! Amazing day by .sportspodiatrist and hopefully a lot more I can incorporate into my treatment!

Didn’t get to have a kick on the deck unfortunately, but a great day regardless with a lot to take home.

New Clinic Space for Mount Piper Podiatry!

After 3.5 years in a small 3x3 room, we’ve made the (quick) transition to our own dedicated clinic space down the road from where we were!

Instead of 1 small room, we now have a full house space with 3 treatment rooms and a much larger dedicated room.

We still have PLENTY to do (painting, landscaping, a sign, more equipment, etc) but sure enough we are building to a bigger and better facility! 😄

Spending this Friday - Sunday at the SEPA (Sports + Exercise Podiatry Australia) Conference at Noosa, continuing to learn and increase in knowledge on topics such as tendon rehabilitation, plantar fasciitis, gait analysis and rehabilitation/strengthening.

Today marks our first birthday!

November 1st 2022 was our first day, and one year on we have grown from 3 days a week to a full 5 days a week thanks to the amazing support from everyone!

I AM BECOMING FULL TIME STARTING JUNE 🥳

Starting June I will be available full time! Currently I am not available on Tuesdays, but thankfully with everyone’s support and help, I’ve now become busy enough to the point I need to start being here full time! 😊

My first Tuesday will be June 6th 😄

Thank you all once again for your support and help! Now that I can dedicate more/all of my time to this, I can hopefully get more done and get more opportunities coming!
