Okay, I wasn’t going to say anything, but I really need to now.

If you don’t live locally, please, please don’t select local delivery at checkout.

I’ve had around 5 orders in the last couple of weeks from out of town where local delivery has been selected, and I’ve still posted them because I would never want someone to miss out on their order.

But just to put it into perspective…

On a $26.95 order, if free local delivery is selected and I then have to post it, postage costs me around $11.

That leaves me with $14.95 — before I’ve paid for the materials to make your product, the packaging, my time, fees and everything else that goes into getting your order ready.

Right now, I genuinely need every single sale I can get, and I am so incredibly grateful for every order that comes through. But I just can’t keep absorbing postage costs like this and still keep Coco & May going.

So if you’re outside Broken Hill, please make sure you select postage at checkout. It might seem like a small thing, but for a tiny business like mine, it’s huge.
