Meet Dr Justin Sindler 🦷
We’re excited to officially introduce and welcome Dr Justin Sindler, who joined the Browns Plains Smiles team in May, to our wonderful patients! 💙
Originally from Sydney, Justin knew from high school that dentistry was the career he wanted to pursue. His passion for dentistry brought him north to Queensland, where he completed his Bachelor of Dental Health Science and Master of Dentistry at Griffith University.
Justin enjoys the variety that general dentistry brings — from helping patients keep their smiles healthy with regular cleans and preventative care, through to fillings, root canal treatment and helping patients feel more confident about their oral health. He believes that good dentistry starts with making patients feel comfortable, listened to and genuinely well cared for.
Outside of dentistry, Justin loves staying active and spending time outdoors. You’ll often find him playing tennis or pickleball, cycling, bushwalking or planning his next adventure! He also enjoys travelling and learning different languages. 🌏
And excitingly, Justin and his wife are preparing to welcome their first baby in late October — so there’s plenty happening both in and out of the practice! 👶💙💗
We’re thrilled to have Justin as part of our team and look forward to introducing him to all of our wonderful patients. Please join us in giving him a warm Browns Plains Smiles welcome! 🦷😊

CINDY 🦷💙

Caring for healthy smiles at Browns Plains Smiles

Cindy graduated from Griffith University with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene and has been a valued member of the Browns Plains Smiles team for the past four years.

Her favourite part of being a dental hygienist is having the opportunity to make a difference in her patients’ lives by improving their oral health through preventative dental care and education.

Cindy especially loves working with children and believes dental visits should be a positive and enjoyable experience. She loves making appointments fun for kids and seeing them leave the practice with a happy, confident smile.

One of the things Cindy loves most about Browns Plains Smiles is the family feel of the practice. She enjoys sharing plenty of fun and laughter with both patients and her workmates, while always providing professional, caring dental care.

When she’s not looking after smiles, Cindy loves travelling, pottery and spending time in the garden.

Meet Glen – The Man Behind Browns Plains Smiles 🦷

For more than 35 years, Glen has been the man behind the name Browns Plains Smiles.

As the owner and operator of the practice, Glen has spent decades caring for generations of patients and building the warm, friendly practice that Browns Plains Smiles is known for. Dentistry has always been much more than just a career for Glen — he genuinely enjoys looking after his patients, having a good chat and catching up with the many familiar faces who have been part of the practice over the years.

And if you know Glen, you’ll know there’s another very important part of his personality — he loves keeping his staff on their toes! From the occasional practical joke to simply finding new and creative ways to annoy them, Glen certainly enjoys a bit of mischief around the practice. The staff have learnt that working with Glen means you need to have a good sense of humour… and probably keep an eye on what he’s up to! 😂

These days, Glen has slowed things down a little and works two days a week, but don’t worry — there’s no talk of retirement just yet! We’re certainly not letting him get away that easily!

Instead, Glen is enjoying finding a little more time for the things he loves outside of dentistry — especially spending time with his grandchildren, walking his beloved dogs, and, of course, playing and watching sport whenever he gets the chance.

After more than 35 years, Glen still loves coming to work, seeing his patients and being part of the Browns Plains Smiles family.

So while he may be slowing down a little, Glen is definitely not slowing down when it comes to the things he enjoys most — good people, good conversations, family, his dogs, plenty of sport and, of course, keeping the staff guessing!

Here’s to Glen — the man behind Browns Plains Smiles, the dentist who has been looking after our patients for over three decades, and the boss who still manages to keep everyone on their toes! ❤️🦷
