Your stubborn belly fat is not a calorie problem, it’s a value system problem.
When you’re eating enough protein and fibre, sleeping, and your biology is actually working, the deficit takes care of itself.
The real problem is that so many women have metabolic rates that are genuinely struggling. Low muscle mass. Poor sleep. Leptin resistance. Insulin resistance. A thyroid that is not firing properly. These are not willpower problems. These are biological problems, and they are all screaming at your body to store more fat and slow everything down.
You cannot out-restrict that. You have tried. It does not work.
And underneath all of it is a value system that was built in the 1960s around cigarette chic and shrinking yourself down as small as possible. That is still running the show for most women, even now.
Here is what I actually believe: women are supposed to have muscle. Healthy amounts of fat. Small waists and strong hips. That is not a radical idea. That is biology.
But that body is not built by eating less. It is built by fixing what is broken first.
The visceral fat accumulating around your middle is not because you ate a potato. It is because you are stressed, underslept, insulin resistant, sedentary, and running on a metabolism that has been suppressed for years.
Fix the biology. Fix the value system. The rest follows.
