How do you want to feel?

💛 Courageous
Take a moment to pause.
Close your eyes and imagine that feeling already living within you.
Notice where you feel it in your body.
Notice how you breathe when you feel this way.
Notice how you carry yourself.
What many don't realise is that feelings are not just emotional experiences. They are whole-body experiences.
When we consciously cultivate feelings such as peace, gratitude, confidence or connection, we begin to influence our nervous system, our hormones, our energy and even the neural pathways in our brain.
A feeling of safety can soften stress responses.
A feeling of appreciation can shift our physiology.
A feeling of confidence can change our posture, breathing and the choices we make.
Over time, repeatedly practising these states can help strengthen new neural pathways through the brain's natural ability to change and adapt, a process known as neuroplasticity.
From an energetic perspective, where attention goes, energy flows. What we consistently focus on and embody tends to grow stronger within us.
This doesn't mean ignoring life's challenges or pretending everything is okay. Rather, it is an invitation to remember that we are not completely at the mercy of our circumstances.
We can begin cultivating the qualities we long for from the inside out.
So today, pause for a moment and ask yourself:
How do I want to feel?
And what might shift if I allowed myself to experience a little more of that feeling right now?
