This week is National Child Protection Week, a time when people from all backgrounds come together to work towards keeping children safe.

Kwaba Bidi takes this opportunity to thank everyone from our staff to our carers, who helps us in our efforts to give every child a safe childhood while empowering them to grow up strong and proud in their identity. We could not do what we do without your support.

Kwaba Bidi works closely alongside Key Assets staff at our Bunbury office. We asked Key Assets Team Manager Andrea about the work her team does with the Regional Family Support Hub.

We need to know the following about families wanting to take part:
- What does your family look like (children, ages etc.)
- Where do you live?
- When your family would be free to do the photo shoot

For more information, have a yarn on (08) 9783 5008, email [email protected] or send a message to Kwaba Bidi on Messanger.

Kaya noonakoort (hello everyone)!

Here at Kwaba Bidi, we are committed to helping our staff grow and learn in their positions.

The team have recently been lucky enough to take part in a series of Noongar language classes from none other than Wardandi Miya-k Kaadajiny Aboriginal Corporation's Charmaine Councillor.

Further adding to staff's knowledge was a special session with Charmaine Collard, who also spoke with the team about her journey as a Noongar Language Teacher.

A big yaangka (thank you) to both for helping the Kwaba Bidi team on their Noongar language journeys!
