Dealing with both acute and chronic wound, a holistic plan will be designed by qualified nurses, to bring about the best healing outcomes. An assessment is important as all wound care must properly reflect the wound characteristics to enable high quality and effective management. The process of tissue repair or healing is extremely complex and unpredictable. Our team at Golden Years will work with you and alongside any other health professional involved in your care to develop a personalised, evidence based wound treatment plan. Referral is required from your General Practitioner, Specialist, or a community nurse. There is a consultation fee plus the cost of dressings. Please feel free to enquire when booking an appointment. For the elderly, we are also happy to work alongside your aged care provider.
