It is with a heavy heart that I share that my Mum, Patricia, or Pat as her friends often called her, passed away last Wednesday.

She cared so deeply about her friends, family, and clients, and gave so much of herself to the people around her. She was strong-willed, kind, caring, and fiercely loyal, with a bit of a rebellious side that made her uniquely her and to me she was simply Mum.

She had one grandson who she absolutely adored and spoke about constantly. He brought her so much joy.

I’m heartbroken, but so grateful for the love and memories she gave us. She will be missed more than words can say.

My dad, Jeff, loved and cared for her with incredible devotion right until the end. The love and support he gave her meant everything, and I will always be grateful for the way he stood by her. I know how much that meant to Mum as well.

Mum didn’t want a formal funeral, but we will be holding a celebration of her life on the 5th of May, from 2:30–5:00pm at River Cruz Cafe, 3 Quay St, Bundaberg Central.

Thank you to everyone for your love and support during this time.
