✨ Why the source of your tallow matters ✨

With so many tallow skincare brands popping up everywhere, it's more important than ever to know exactly where the fat in your skincare comes from!

At The Devlin Family Homestead, we only use 100% Grass-fed & Grass-finished Beef Suet Fat sourced from cattle raised without hormones and without vaccines! We carefully render all of our tallow in-house, giving us complete control over the quality and purity of every batch! Nothing is outsourced!!

Not all tallow is created equal! The quality of the animal's diet, how it was raised, and which fat is used can all impact the final product that ends up on your skin!

One thing many people don't realise is that "grass-fed" doesn't always mean "grass-finished!" Many cattle are raised on pasture for most of their lives but are then finished on grain before processing to increase weight gain! That's why we specifically choose 100% grass-fed and grass-finished suet fat!

When choosing tallow skincare, don't be afraid to ask questions:
✔️ Is it truly grass-fed and grass-finished?
✔️ What type of fat is being used?
✔️ Is the tallow rendered in-house or purchased pre-rendered?
✔️ Do you know how the animals were raised?

We believe transparency matters! That's why we're proud to know exactly where our tallow comes from and exactly how it's processed from start to finish!
