A New Chapter Begins

In 2013, Wide Bay Social Work Services began with a simple goal: to provide respectful, person-centred support that genuinely made a difference in people's lives.

Over the years, we have had the privilege of walking alongside hundreds of participants, families, carers, support coordinators, and professionals throughout our community. We have shared challenges, celebrated achievements, and built relationships that mean the world to us.

As our organisation has grown and evolved, so too has our vision.

Today, we are excited to share that Wide Bay Social Work Services is transitioning to MarJen Collective.

MarJen Collective reflects not only our growth as an organisation, but also our belief that the best outcomes are achieved through connection, collaboration, and community.

While our name is changing, our values are not.

The same people.
The same commitment.
The same local presence.
The same dedication to supporting every journey.

For us, MarJen Collective is not the end of Wide Bay Social Work Services.

It is the next chapter of the story that began in 2013.

To everyone who has trusted us, supported us, referred to us, and walked beside us over the years—thank you.

We are incredibly grateful and excited for what comes next.

🌟 We’re hiring a Participant & Workforce Coordinator 🌟

Do you love connecting people, organising the chaos, and making things actually work?

We’re a small (but growing!) NDIS provider looking for someone who can support both our participants and our support workers—making sure everyone feels matched, supported, and set up to succeed.

This is a flexible role to start (part-time hours), with the opportunity to grow into something bigger as we grow.

💛 What you’ll be doing:
• Matching participants with the right support workers (not just filling shifts)
• Creating and reviewing care plans
• Supporting onboarding of new staff
• Managing rosters and day-to-day changes
• Being a go-to person for participant and staff queries
• Keeping things compliant (without making it scary)

🌈 About you:
• You enjoy a bit of organised chaos—and secretly love fixing systems that aren’t quite working yet
• You’re organised but also human (you get that people aren’t spreadsheets)
• You’re a great communicator—calm, clear, and kind
• You can juggle moving parts without dropping the important ones
• You genuinely care about participants having a good experience
• Experience in NDIS/disability is a big plus

🚗 What we offer:
• SCHADS Award
• Flexible hours to start
• A supportive, neurodiversity-affirming team
• The chance to help shape how things are done as we grow
• A role where you can actually make a difference for participants

✨ Important:
We support a diverse range of participants, including people with disability and neurodivergent individuals. We strongly encourage applications from people with lived experience.

📩 Drop us a message or text Jennie on 0429550536 to start a confidential discussion.

Let’s build something good—together.
