🌼 Daffodil Day 🌼

Today, Angelic Care stands with every person, family and carer whose life has been touched by cancer.

The daffodil is a powerful symbol of hope—hope for better treatments, more precious moments with loved ones and a future free from cancer. 💛

By raising awareness, supporting vital research and showing kindness to those facing cancer, we can all help make a meaningful difference.

Together, let’s bring hope to life. 🌼

💜 A gentle reminder for today...

We spend so much time caring for others that we often forget to care for ourselves.

Whether it's taking five minutes to breathe, going for a walk, saying "no" when you need to, or simply allowing yourself to rest, your wellbeing matters too.

You can't pour from an empty cup. The same compassion, patience, and kindness you show to others is something you deserve as well.

At Angelic Care, we believe that caring starts with you. 🌿

💜 A gentle reminder...

If you weren't ready, the opportunity wouldn't be in front of you.

Growth can feel uncomfortable, and new beginnings can be overwhelming but they also mean you're moving forward.

Believe in yourself, trust the journey, and take one step at a time. 🌿

🎶 Disability Icon of the Week: Andrea Bocelli 🎶

Andrea Bocelli is an internationally celebrated Italian tenor whose powerful voice has inspired audiences around the world.

Born with congenital glaucoma, Andrea became completely blind at 12 following a football accident. He continued pursuing his passion for music and went on to build an extraordinary career, showing that disability does not limit talent, ambition or success.

Andrea’s story reminds us that with determination, opportunity and support, people can continue to follow their dreams and make an incredible impact. 💜💚

At Angelic Care, we celebrate people of all abilities and the unique talents they bring to our world.

Every person deserves to be seen, heard and counted. 💜

For people with disability, the Census is an important opportunity to help show the real needs of our community. The information collected helps guide planning for accessible transport, healthcare, housing, community services, carer support and other essential programs.

While the Census does not determine individual NDIS funding, accurate information helps governments and service providers better understand where support is needed and how communities can become more inclusive and accessible.

On Tuesday 11 August 2026, make sure you have your say—because every answer matters.

💜 A little reminder for anyone who needs it today:

You are doing better than you think you are.

Progress does not always feel obvious. Sometimes it looks like getting through a difficult day, asking for support, trying again, or taking one small step forward.

Be proud of how far you have come, and be gentle with yourself along the way. 🌸
