Dr. Carli Axford is a leader in the evolution of spinal healing and neurological care.

With Double Bachelors in Chiropractic Science and advanced training in Network Spinal Analysis, Bio-Geometric Integration, Torque Release Technique, Sacro-Occipital Technique, Applied Kinesiology, Neuro-Emotional Technique, and EFT, Dr. Carli brings together decades of study, clinical experience, and innovation.

After more than 20 years of hands-on practice — including work alongside the Texas Back Institute, where her approach contributed to preventing 85% of spinal surgeries — Dr. Carli recognized a gap in the healing world. Many modalities addressed pieces of the puzzle, but few offered a streamlined, gentle, root-cause approach that was both effective and accessible.

From this realization, the Spinal Flow Technique™ was born.

Dr. Carli instantly knew she had developed something revolutionary — a technique that helps clients access deep healing without force, and without years of medical training or overwhelming debt for practitioners.
Today, her mission is clear: To empower practitioners and healers with a method that works at the root cause level — so they can help more people, create meaningful impact.

This is so true once you release stressors it’s like peeling off layers on an onion , allowing your true essence to shine threw calm, relaxed , less reactive, more regulated ♥️

"That's just the way I am." People don't realise that a lifetime of stress 💯 can alter your personality and mental state. So often I have clients that are surprised at how their persona changes with regular Spinal Flow treatment. Even to the point where they're not quite sure what to do with the " new me". They're more relaxed, calm, not striving, pushing or stressing.

The truth is it's not new. They are coming back to who they truly are before the decades of stress and trauma built up on their spine and nervous system.

It's a beautiful thing to witness and hold space for. 🥰🌊💫

Carli was recently featured on the The Aging Project podcast!

In the episode, “Spinal Flow, Back Pain & Nervous System Care,” she dives into the powerful connection between the spine, nervous system, stress, and the body’s natural ability to heal through the Spinal Flow technique.

The conversation explores how physical, emotional, and chemical stress can affect the body, and how reconnecting with the nervous system can support greater ease, balance, and wellbeing.

It’s always so inspiring to hear Carli share more about the philosophy behind Spinal Flow and the body’s innate wisdom to heal.

Was so great to chat with Shelley Craft on her podcast - The Aging Project

I love speaking to great women on a mission to help so many people.

Your nervous system is always listening.

Not just to physical stress… but to the way you think, respond, and move through life.

Many people don’t realise that patterns like these can quietly keep the nervous system in a constant state of tension:

• Perfectionism
• People pleasing
• Avoiding conflict
• Self criticism
• Over-analysing everything
• Constant doing without rest
• Comparing yourself to others

Over time, these patterns can keep the body stuck in survival mode instead of allowing it to feel safe enough to rest, heal, and regulate.

When the nervous system is dysregulated, the body may begin to express this through symptoms such as fatigue, pain, tension, anxiety, digestive issues, or feeling overwhelmed.

Your body isn’t broken.
It’s communicating.

When we create safety within the nervous system, the body can begin to release stored stress and return to a more balanced state.

This is why supporting the nervous system is so important for overall wellbeing.

✨ Your body already knows how to heal. Sometimes it just needs the right environment to do so.

If you’re curious about how Spinal Flow supports the nervous system, feel free to reach out or send me a message.

Sometimes stepping away is exactly what the nervous system needs. 🌿

I’ve been a little quiet on here lately as I took some time to travel, reset, and soak in some beautiful moments with family and nature.

Taking that space reminded me of something I often share with my clients…
Our bodies aren’t designed to constantly be “doing.”
They need moments to pause, breathe, and recalibrate.

Now I’m back in the clinic and feeling refreshed, grounded, and ready to support those who are on their own healing journey.

For anyone who may be feeling overwhelmed, burnt out, or stuck in stress patterns — your body has an incredible ability to regulate and heal when given the right support.

I’m looking forward to sharing more education, insights, and nervous system wisdom with you all again.

Thank you for being here 🤍

This week, we will speak about the Winsor Autopsies and how this study shows that spinal blockages create stress, dis-ease, and illness in the body.

Do You Feel Safe in Your Body?

Your body should be a place of ease, strength, and stability. But when you’ve been carrying deep stress, trauma, or tension, it can start to feel unfamiliar or even unsafe.

If you relate to any of the following, you may have a Base Gateway blockage—an area at the base of your spine that affects your sense of security, movement, and overall well-being:

🔹 Ongoing anxiety or depression
🔹 Neurological issues affecting movement, sensation, or function
🔹 A constant feeling of being unsafe in your own body
🔹 A sense of “just getting by” rather than truly thriving

Why Does This Happen?

The Base Gateway, located at your coccyx (tailbone), carries nerve signals from your spine to your legs and feet. When blocked, it holds onto stored stress—often tied to survival instincts, past trauma, or a deep-seated fear of not being safe in the world.

There Is Relief.

At Flow2Heal Spinal Flow, we use the Spinal Flow Technique to help release this stored tension, restoring ease, safety, and flow throughout your body. Clients often experience:

✅ A deep sense of grounding and relaxation
✅ Improved nervous system function
✅ Emotional balance and resilience
✅ A shift from “survival mode” to thriving in life

You don’t have to live in a state of stress or unease. Your body wants to heal—let’s help it do just that.

Hope is NOW I have to share something that truly fills my heart… 🤍 Laurena Yorkowski, a Spinal Flow Practitioner in Nova Scotia, has been working with a client who was a quadriplegic for six years due to Lyme disease. His body was blocked—his hope was gone. But after three months of Spinal Flow, three times a week… he moved his legs. He lifted himself off the bed. He’s learning to kick. And most importantly—he believes in his healing again. THIS is why we do what we do. The body wants to heal. And hope is real and truly empowering.
