This Gluten-Free & Dairy-Free Lemon Love Cake is the perfect nourishing sweet treat when you’re craving something delicious without compromising your gut health goals. Made with organic lemons and wholesome ingredients, it’s light, fluffy, zesty, and packed with fresh citrus goodness.

🍋 INGREDIENTS

• 1½ cups gluten-free flour
• 1½ tsp baking powder
• 1 tbsp organic lemon zest
• ½ tsp sea salt
• ½ cup plant-based butter
• 1 cup raw caster sugar
• 2 free-range eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 2 tbsp fresh organic lemon juice
• ½ cup dairy-free buttermilk (½ cup dairy-free milk + 1 tsp lemon juice)

🍋 Lemon Syrup
• ¼ cup fresh organic lemon juice
• 3 tbsp icing sugar

🍋 Lemon Glaze
• 1 cup icing sugar
• 1½ tbsp fresh lemon juice
• 1 tbsp dairy-free milk

👩‍🍳 METHOD

1. Preheat oven to 177°C and line a loaf tin.
2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, lemon zest and salt.
3. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
4. Add eggs one at a time, then vanilla and lemon juice.
5. Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk until just combined.
6. Pour into loaf tin and bake for 45–55 minutes.
7. Cool for 15 minutes.
8. Mix syrup ingredients and brush generously over the warm cake.
9. Allow to cool completely.
10. Whisk glaze ingredients together and drizzle over the cake.

🌿 Naturopath Tip:
Use organic lemons as both the zest and juice are used throughout the recipe. For added fibre and gut-loving benefits, mix through 1 tbsp chia seeds or poppy seeds before baking.

Behold the highly requested, SALTED TAHINI & DARK CHOC FUDGE ⭐️

Our cheeky 2pm snack for when those sugar cravings hit at work….

The best part -> they are a simple wholefood treat made with just a handful of organic ingredients. Rich in healthy fats, naturally sweetened, and perfect to keep in the freezer for those afternoon sweet cravings.

Ingredients
• 375g Macro Organic Hulled Tahini
• ⅔ cup organic coconut oil
• 2 tsp organic vanilla extract
• 2 tbsp organic maple syrup
• 200g organic dark chocolate, melted
• Pinch of sea salt flakes

Method
• Gently melt tahini, coconut oil and vanilla together. Stir through maple syrup.
• Pour half the mixture into a separate bowl.
• Add melted dark chocolate to the remaining mixture and stir until smooth.
• Pour chocolate mixture into a lined container, spoon over the plain tahini mixture and swirl.
• Sprinkle with sea salt and freeze for 2–3 hours until firm.
• Slice into pieces and store in the freezer.

Let’s talk about sleep for a minute, but let’s skip the usual bedtime rules and look at the bigger picture. Did you know that a beautiful, deep night of rest actually begins the very moment you open your eyes in the morning?

Your sleep quality and immunity are governed by an internal clock called your circadian rhythm. When natural morning sunlight hits your eyes, it stops morning melatonin production, clears away grogginess, and sets a natural timer to release your sleep hormones fourteen to sixteen hours later.

If your morning routine involves waking up in a dark room and immediately scrolling on your phone, your master biological clock gets confused. You end up feeling foggy all afternoon and wide awake at midnight.
