My new favourite iPad obsession - a digital planner! It’s the same as one of those giant planners with pages for finance, travel planning, journaling, health, yearly pages, weekly pages, daily pages etc all in one file on my iPad 😍 I am in love! I feel so organised, it’s space saving in my already chocka-block handbag, plus it was like $7 for a 2022 & 2023 version

Consider me influenced - .you has one of these in her clinic room at . It is a mini vending machine from ! I plan to fill it with M&Ms to use for mindfulness/mindful eating practice. I love doing these activities in session, but usually don’t have easy access to anything to practice with.

Plan to have this filled and on my shelf ready to go whenever I need. You just pull the lever and it dispenses a few into the tray.

Will show you in my stories how it works tomorrow once I’ve stocked up!

I think sometimes we have this idea or belief that if we can just accept something, we will no longer be negatively affected by it. Acceptance can more be an ongoing process or noticing our emotions and accepting and normalising that emotional response. The journey just gets easier and easier over time 💕

Monitoring our activity and eating our mood throughout the day can help identify links and patterns between different activities and the impact the have on how we feel.

This can be a helpful start to behavioural activation strategies with clients or ourselves - do more of the things that lift our mood and less of those things that festively impact it!

New Years resolutions generally get a bad wrap, but I see benefit to having some goals for the year to hold lightly. My goals for 2022:

1. Slow it down
2. Reduce personal expectations
3. BE PRESENT
