Male Support Worker – 2 Hours/Week (permanent shift, but casual position)

Seeking a calm, patient, and reliable male support worker to support one participant with skills development and community engagement.

• 2 hours per week (permanent shift)
• Sporty and active preferred
• Interest in soccer is a bonus

This role is specifically for this participant. Opportunity for additional shifts with other participants in the future.

**Position: Experienced Disability Support Workers (High Intensity skills)**

**Qualifications and Requirements:**

- Experience working with people with disabilities and providing personal care.

- Experience in manual handling (desired).

- Strong Understanding of Restrictive Practices!

- Understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding regulations.

**We are looking for candidates who:**

- Are enthusiastic about supporting people with disabilities to live their best life.

- Complete thorough shift notes, log in and log out on time, and spend quality time with participants to help them achieve their goals.

- Have availability and flexible with shift times.

- Provide their availability when applying for the role.

- Have the ability to support others with personal care and domestic duties respectfully.

- Have the capacity to meet the physical requirements of the job, including manual handling tasks.

- Enjoy working in a small team environment as well as independently.

- Have good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Have a strong sense of accountability and confidentiality.

- Have completed the Certificate III in Individual Support – desirable but not mandatory.

**Successful candidates will be required to:**

1. Obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Clearance

3. Complete the NDIS Worker Orientation Module.

6. Have or will obtain Medication Management, First Aid, and CPR Certification.
