I wanted to get in before this manipulative Lady (my last client) to advise other Hairdressers to be very careful about taking on new clients.
Please always discuss costs prior to commencing your service!

Prior to coming, this Lady spoke to me over the phone and asked me for minor service prices, to which she got minor service prices… No service was booked firmly.
We agreed that it was better to discuss services and costs when I could see her hair in person.
We made a booking for 2 weeks later… today!

So, we proceeded with a very detailed 30 min consultation and ended up with strategically placed blonde foils around her hairline, keeping the peek-a-boo look slightly and a full reverse Balyage, tone and cut. 4 hours of my time, care and professionalism!

Up until this point, she had been very nice, kind and talkative and thanked me very much for my patience and ability to create what she wanted.

Once it became time for her to pay her $280, she told me that she had only ever paid $180 (even though she’d never had this service before) and that I had agreed to this price over the phone and blatantly refused to pay any more.
I tried to explain that this was actually a very reasonable fee and that never was a firm price agreed upon, but she simply told me she wasn’t paying it because she had it written in her diary that this was the quote I’d given…
I obviously told her that this was unacceptable, but she opened her purse and handed me 2 x $100 notes. I advised that she wouldn’t be getting change and that she’s not welcome here anymore.

The kicker: She left the Studio mumbling that she was going to tell everyone about her terrible experience!!!
