Ever find yourself feeling flat, a little lost, over tired or overwhelmed with life, stressed and holding lots of tension in your body? Have you been searching for something, anything to help you get through the day, to feel a little relief, to help your mind switch off from overthinking everything so you can actually unwind, relax and possibly even sleep a little better? Miranda is a highly exper

ienced Energy Therapist that promotes wellness through harmony and balance throughout the mind - body - soul connection. Her ongoing commitment to personal learning and growth over more than 20 years, searching to find alternative ways to bring relaxation and relief throughout her own personal life challenges has seen her achieve many qualifications such as Reiki Master, Crystal and Colour Therapist to name but a few, with her speciality working with sound as a Sound Massage Practitioner and Therapist. Throughout all her sessions either as one on one or in a group, Miranda's highest intention is to create a space of relaxation and rejuvenation at a cellular level, helping the mind to relax, the body to heal and the soul to reconnect. Unique and heartfelt, her group sound meditations are a delight to behold with every session being slightly different as she connects with the energy to create a safe, nurturing space to support and empower you on your inner journey of relaxation, healing and growth. Whether you've been searching for ways to release stress and tension in the body, calm the monkey mind from anxiety or reconnect with spirit, Miranda's sessions are truly transformational in many ways ... more than just sound. Sound Therapy is such a gentle process that can be used individually, combined with other processes and is also complimentary to alternative treatments you may already be receiving. Sound Therapy is multi sensory as you can feel and hear the gentle harmonics and vibrations on and around the body. This helps in a multitude of ways, by giving your mind something different to focus on, bringing your attention back to your body and away from your to do list. It also helps to regulate the autonomic nervous system helping you to move away from being primarily in the 'fight or flight' response of stress and tension and bringing in more balance through relaxation and calm within the body. Not sure about a one on one session? We also do private group sessions, retreats and attend fairs. Unable to attend one of our pre-organised group sessions, have a birthday or special occasion coming up, or simply want to be in the comfort of your own home with people you know? Have a question or just curious? Please reach out, send us a message. Interested in further training and courses for yourself? Like or follow this page to stay informed as courses and training will be coming soon. How can we be of service to you? We work with energy on multiple levels to assist you in balancing and relaxing your body, mind and soul. Is there something in particular that drew you here? take a deep breath and check in with your body, how does it feel? Ask yourself what it is that you want to create or alternatively what you want to release and let go of, and allow us to assist and nurture you. Please reach out and ask as many questions as you need. We would be honoured to support you on your wellness and empowerment journey. We look forward to connecting with you

🌱 Spring is here and there’s something beautiful about coming together 🎶

As we move from the quieter energy of winter into spring, I’m feeling drawn to themes of connection, renewal and creating space for what we want to grow.

And this month, there are a few beautiful opportunities to pause, breathe and immerse yourself in the gentle vibrations of sound. 💕

🎶 COSMIC SOUND BATH — Sounding September 🌏✨

This one is a little different…

I’m joining with a collective of Peter Hess® Sound Massage Practitioners from around Australia for a special Sounding September series of sound events, raising money in support of the Boris Hess Foundation in Nepal.

This collaboration began as a way of celebrating our shared connection to Nepal, the origins of the Peter Hess Method, and the beautifully crafted singing bowls and teachings that have connected us all for more than 40 years.

Following the devastating natural disasters in Nepal, our reason for coming together has taken on even more meaning.

At its heart, this is about togetherness — practitioners supporting practitioners, communities supporting communities, and coming together for a cause grounded in gratitude, appreciation and respect. ❤️

I’m delighted to be part of this beautiful collaboration of local practitioners for the following event:

✨ Cosmic Sound Bath Fundraiser
📅 Sunday 20 September
📍 Busselton
⏰ 3.00–4.30pm

Every contribution helps support the important work of the Boris Hess Foundation in Nepal.

✨🎶 My Regular Sound Meditation Journeys 🎶✨

And if you’re looking for something a little more intimate and local, I’ll also be holding my two regular Sound Meditation Journeys this month.

🎶 Sunday 13 September
📍 Private residence, Busselton
⏰ 4.00–5.00pm

🎶 Sunday 27 September
📍 Bendy Bits, Vasse
⏰ 4.00–5.00pm

These are small, intimate gatherings where you can simply come as you are and allow yourself an hour to pause, soften and be held by the sounds of singing bowls, gong and other instruments.

No experience needed. Just bring yourself. 💕

Perhaps spring is a gentle reminder that we don’t have to rush into becoming something new.

Sometimes we simply need to create the space for what is already within us to emerge. 🌱

I’d love to share some of these beautiful sound experiences with you this month.

With love and gratitude,
Miranda

I really love Charlie Mackesy’s beautiful books — The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse is one of those books I can come back to again and again. 🤍

I was originally going to take some photos from the book to share, but then I discovered Charlie’s page and these beautiful little clips he’s created from his illustrations.

This one particularly touched me. The fox reminds the boy that our thoughts can sometimes be a little sneaky and deceptive… and that just because our mind tells us something, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s true.

A beautiful little reminder that even when our thoughts are unkind, doubtful or telling us we’re not enough — we are still important, we are still valued, and we are enough. 🤍

Sometimes we just need someone (or something) to remind us. ✨

There was a time when I was such a yes person.

Yes to people.
Yes to plans.
Yes to helping.
Yes to things I probably didn’t even really want to do. 😂

It took me a long time to realise that saying no doesn’t make you selfish, difficult or uncaring. Sometimes saying no is simply advocating for yourself, protecting your energy and recognising that your time and wellbeing matter too.

And honestly, learning to stop and ask myself “Does this fill me up, or does it drain me?” has been a bit of a game changer.

For me, sound, Reiki, oils, crystals, cards and the cycles of the moon are some of the little things that genuinely light me up. They nourish me, recharge me and bring me back to myself. ✨🌙

And I think there’s something really special about finding the things you love and making space for them. Because when you’re doing something you truly love, it hardly feels like work at all. 🤍

Especially as women, we can spend so much of our lives pouring into everyone and everything around us — our families, our work, our homes, our relationships — that it can be so easy to put ourselves at the bottom of the list.

But we need to refill our own cups too.

Weave those little pockets of time into your days.
Do something that lights you up.
Follow what makes you feel alive.
Make space for the things that recharge you.

Because if the cup runs completely dry, there’s nothing left to pour from. And if the cup goes down… eventually, the whole ship goes down. 🥂😂

Of course, there are still some things we can’t exactly say no to…

Like the dishes.
And the laundry.
And apparently feeding everyone. 🤣

But perhaps we can get a little better at saying no to the things that drain us — and a much bigger YES to the things that bring us back to ourselves. 💕

💛✨

This feels like one to save for a really rainy day… 🌧️🦋

A gentle reminder that it’s okay to pause, rest and take shelter when life feels a little stormy.

You don’t always have to keep pushing through. Sometimes rest is exactly what you need before you’re ready to fly again.

How would it feel if you gave yourself one uninterrupted hour this week? 🌿

An hour with nowhere else to be.
Nothing else to do.
No one else to care for.

Just space to breathe.
To soften.
To rest.

This Sunday, I’d love to welcome you to the beautiful Bendy Bits in Vasse for a nurturing guided sound relaxation. Surrounded by calming greenery, cosy blankets and the soothing sounds of singing bowls and gong, you’ll be gently guided into a state of deep rest and relaxation.

Whether you’ve been feeling overwhelmed, mentally busy, emotionally drained, or simply in need of a moment to reconnect with yourself…

This is your invitation to pause.

You can find all the session details in the reel, or head to the Facebook Event for more information.

The world will still be there when your hour is over…

…but perhaps you’ll return feeling a little lighter.

Because you matter too. 💚

A little reminder for today… 🤍

We so often put ourselves at the bottom of the list, making sure everyone else is cared for first. But you matter too.

Taking care of yourself isn’t selfish—it’s what allows you to keep showing up for the people you love without running on empty. You can’t pour from an empty cup.

May you find a few moments today to nurture yourself too.

💕🙏💕

Remember to include yourself
in the list of things you
need to take care of today. 💜✨

Creating a sense of safety is at the heart of everything I do. 🤍

Each of us carries our own life experiences, and no two nervous systems respond in exactly the same way. What feels deeply relaxing for one person may feel unfamiliar or even overwhelming for another.

That’s why creating a space free from judgement, pressure, or expectation is so important to me.

I want every person who walks into one of my sessions to know they are welcome exactly as they are. There is nothing to achieve, nothing to get right, and no expectation to have a particular experience.

Sometimes people drift into a deep state of rest. Sometimes emotions arise. Sometimes the greatest gift is simply having permission to pause.

When we feel safe, the nervous system has the opportunity to soften, settle and begin to restore itself in its own time.

Thank you, Ute, for continuing to advocate for conscious, compassionate sound practice and for reminding us that the way we hold a space is just as important

15/07/2026

Life has a way of filling every spare moment.

Before we know it, another week has passed. Work, family, school routines, appointments, washing, cooking, messages to reply to… and somewhere amongst it all, we quietly put ourselves at the bottom of the list.

As women and mothers especially, we’re often so used to caring for everyone else that taking time for ourselves can feel uncomfortable. We tell ourselves we’ll rest later, when everything else is done.

But later has a habit of never arriving.

One of the things I often share during my sessions is, “Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should.”

Yes, we’re capable of pushing through. We can keep going when we’re tired, stressed or overwhelmed. But that doesn’t mean it’s what our body needs.

Imagine if we only serviced our car once it had broken down. Or waited until the tyres were completely worn before replacing them. We understand the importance of regular maintenance because it helps prevent bigger problems down the track.

Our wellbeing deserves that same care.

My Sound Relaxation Journeys aren’t about fixing you—because you’re not broken. They’re about creating a safe, nurturing space where you can simply pause. A space where, for an hour, you don’t have to look after anyone else. You don’t have to achieve anything. You don’t even have to “do” relaxation the right way.

You can simply arrive exactly as you are.

Some people drift into a deep rest. Others simply enjoy lying still while listening to the soothing vibrations of the singing bowls. Whatever your experience, it’s perfect because there is no right or wrong way to receive what you need.

Regularly creating space for deep rest and nervous system regulation is one of the kindest gifts we can give ourselves. Not because we’ve reached breaking point, but because we matter too.

If you’ve been feeling like your body has been quietly asking you to slow down, perhaps this is your invitation.

✨ Sound Relaxation Journey
📍 Bendy Bits Yoga Studio, Vasse
🗓 Sunday 26th July

I intentionally keep these sessions small so everyone has plenty of space to feel safe, comfortable and nurtured throughout the experience.

Last Sunday’s session booked out quickly, so if you’ve been thinking about coming along, I’d love to hold that space for you.

Bookings are essential as places are limited.

For all the details, please see the event on my page, I’ll also post a link in the comments.

Wherever you are this week, I hope you find a moment to slow down and be kind to yourself. 💛

If you’ve been curious about what a Peter Hess Sound Massage feels like, or why the experience can be so deeply relaxing, this post from the Peter Hess Academy Australia offers a wonderful explanation.

Have you ever experienced sound in this way before?

It also shares a link to one of the studies exploring the effects of sound massage for those who enjoy the science behind the experience.

✨ I feel very grateful to offer this amazing process and love supporting others through the power of sound.

What people feel during a Peter Hess® Sound Massage 🎶

Curious about what really happens during a Peter Hess® Sound Massage?

In recent years, Singing Bowls and sound-based approaches have become increasingly present in wellbeing, therapy, and education. While there is some research on passive music listening, the effects of on-body sound applications have been less explored.

A 2022 study by Walter & Hinterberger (University Hospital Regensburg), published in Medicina, examined a professional Peter Hess® Sound Massage with Therapeutic Singing Bowls placed on and around the body.

The findings were insightful - not only on a physiological level (brain activity, heart rate, breathing, and relaxation responses), but also in participants’ subjective experiences.

Many participants reported feeling:
• More balanced and integrated
• Calmer and mentally clearer
• A sense of openness and spaciousness
• A distortion of time perception (“losing track of time”)
• More connected and secure
• Experiences described as warmth, love, and deep inner safety

These states are often comparable to meditative experiences, without participants being instructed to meditate.

It is important to emphasise: this is not simply “playing bowls on the body”. A Peter Hess® Sound Massage is a structured, internationally recognised and taught professional method developed over more than 40 years. Technique, placement, instruments, and practitioner presence all contribute to the overall experience. While research in this field is still emerging, studies like this offer valuable insight into why this approach can be perceived as deeply regulating and restorative.
